I don't drink soda very often, but it is completely ridiculous and unconstitutional to pose a ban like that. The big mac that the consumer is having with their large soda is way more unhealthy than the soda itself. BUT the person can have a gigantic DIET soda which is basically consuming poison.

If you are going something like this, I would do vegan days, not vegetarian. I know plenty of vegetarians that eat TERRIBLY!!! At least with a vegan day, you wouldn't be eating cheese, most breads, sweets, or drinking milk.

My husband completely understands that I need to do this for me and nobody else (plus, I really would like to comfortable fit into my pants again). Actually, soft tacos have more calories than hard tacos.

Hard tacos with little to no cheese. And don't eat sour cream or anything like that. Mexican is not that high in calories, you just need to watch the tortillas (the calories can really add up in those) and watch the cheese and add ons.

I'm on my second week of doing the same thing, but instead of candy (or goodies), it's alcohol. No alcoholic beverages until Thanksgiving. Then I think I will do the same thing from then until Christmas.

The good part about making your own soup is that you can put as much or as little salt as you want. And soup is sooooo easy to make. Try sea salt, that will give you the salty flavor, but less sodium.

You have to keep in mind all of the calories you would burn from the actual movement of your strokes. Even people who only go to the driving range every so often knows their muscles are killing them the next day. You burn calories just working those muscles you use while doing the actual golfing.

By cooking the apple, yeah, you are burning off a bunch of the nutrients; just remember, you still are getting the vitamin C from that which is good for you, especially during this time of year.

Aspartame is extremely bad for you, but Sweet and Low is not Aspartame, it is Saccharin. In general, all artificial sweeteners are actually bad for you.

Try making your own pizzas with tortilla shells (I found the low carb ones get crispier if you put them in the oven first). It's less calories, less carbs, and less fat.

I agree with everybody else. You have to remember that when you eat that amount of salt or drink a lot of alcohol, you are going to retain water. As long as you aren't feeling hungry you should be fine. If you ARE feeling hungry, I would eat more calories.

Instead of frying the chicken, bread it and then bake it. You will still get the breading you like and it will seal in the juices, plus you don't get all of the grease from the extra oils.

I saw an article once that had a formula for replacing sugar with apple sauce. I just can't remember what it was (I wish I'd kept the article). Try to google it and see what you can find.

I would say get a boxing game for your playstation. I have a Gold's gym boxing game for my Wii and I build up a sweat every time I play that.
