Me too! I started last week, but I diddn't finish as I went out of town on friday/saturday. Started back yesterday as day 1 and completed day 2 today. I would love to be held accountable as well, so anyone on this thread please feel free to add me as a friend, just make sure to write something in the message so I don't…

@unaffected, would you rather me check in via message or just here on the thread? I sent you a message but I wasn't sure if that was what we should do...

All right TEAM VILLAIN!!!

Perfect! I'm totally in too!

I read on eHow that you can maximize the benefits to the 30 day shred by doing it 2x a day...anyone interested in doing this?
-
Thank YOU!

I agree, I did Insanity about a year ago and just started 30 day shred today. I liked the workout, but I'm gonna move to level 2 tomorrow.
-
I just started today! Love it!

I have just started doing the Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred and what's great about it is that it's ONLY 20 minutes! You could pop it in, get your workout on, and be done in 20. Hope this was helpful!

Hi Jenny! Welcome! Just added you as a friend!

ME TOO!!!

I've learned that I have lordosis (swayback) and I think this also contributes to this. Thanks everybody!
-
Wow, I've never heard that! Thanks!

I am a pescetarian and I notice that the lower my carbs are the better my weight loss is. I am a yoga teacher, practice yoga, and do some beachbody workouts at home and I have plenty of energy to do it with a low carb diet. My family has a history of diabetes and a low carb way of eating is the right way of eating for me.

I LOVE the nectar brand protein powder. I buy it at the vitamin shoppe but I'm sure you can order it too. One scoop has 24 grams of protein, no sugar, no carbs, no fat. And most importantly it tastes great!

I agree. I also like to blanch certain veggies to a crisp tender and have them ready, like asparagus and haricot verts (little french green beans). I keep them in a tupperware container so I can eat them either cold in a salad, or warm with a quick saute in olive oil. I find that it really helps me get more veggies in!

Thanks everyone! Keep the ideas coming! So I should probably NOT eat when I get home, right? :)

I'm a big fan of the la tortilla company. They're tasty, low cal/low carb and just perfection.

Me too! Turning 29 on Sunday, but I'd love some more friends if any of you all are up for it!
-
Just sent you a request!

I'm another 5'2"-er and my situation is very similar...at my heaviest I have been 132 and right now I am at 127. My goal for the moment is to pare down to 120. I have started myself on an egg fast today to see if that will help me out even more. Feel free to add me as a friend.

Count me in too...I need to make myself accountable! NAME.............................................SW...................CW.....................Lbs Lost this week.................... GW 00trayn…

Great advice...I need to follow this more often! I am kind of obsessed with the scale and every little thing either makes or breaks my day!
-
I drink herbal teas at night all the time! I take night classes until 10pm from monday-thursday so I come home and my compulsions get the best of me!
-
On another note, I like to make my hummus with black soy beans instead of the garbanzo beans. You can lower the carbs significantly by doing this. And it's tasty too! As for what I like to do with hummus...hollowing out a tomato and filling with hummus is delicious!

Since I have gone low carb I found a wonderful store online: lindasdietdelites.com that has an amazing selection for low carbers. This site lets me have my bread and other goodies. Hope this is helpful!

I have been following the Heller's Carbohydrate Addict's Diet and I am finding that after many attempts at hopping on the low carb band wagon, this is the best option for me. A typical day for me has 2 meals which are very low carb (net carbs not exceeding 20 for both meals) and the "reward Meal" can be whatever you want…

I totally understand. My family is a very meat-centric family and when I decided to stop eating meat it was a really big deal! Even now I have family members that say, "Awww, she doesn't eat meat" at family functions, as if I'm the one whose missing out on something! You don't have to justify anything; it is your choice…

I'd love to chat/listen to any thoughts...
