  • Yes, it sounds like you need to change it up. You definitley need some kind of cardio excercise that elevates your heart rate. That's the only way you are going to get a good calorie burn. Walking is a good exercise but it sounds like it's not challenging your body and without challenge there won't be change.
  • I'm going to McAlisters with a freind and I plan on eating half of the Veggie Club Sandwich and a small garden salad with low cal dressing. And of course an unsweet tea. Yum!
  • I don't eat it because I don't like it and it messes with my digestive system. I quit eating meat a year and a half ago and have never felt better in my life! My tastes have totally changed and I am eating way healthier foods than I used to. One of the best decsions I have ever made! And I don't care for eggs either. If…
  • Appetite for Reduction is good!
  • Sending a request! I would love to share diaries!
  • Jazzercise is a lot of fun. It's an hour of dance aerobics, strength training and stretching. The music is mostly music that you would hear when your turn your on. I've been going for 18 months now and I love it so much I am training to become an instructor!
  • I LOVE sweet potatoes!!! I had one last night for dinner along with a salad. One of my favorite 'light' meals!!
  • Jazzercise class!!!! Keeps me in shape and I have fun while I'm at it.
  • I will admit that I have taken this drug in the past and it does work. However, I will NEVER take it again. I have a friend that was taking it and it caused heart failure and she is about to get a pacemaker. She is only 37 years old. Apparentley this is not uncommon. I would be very careful with it. It's just not worth…

  • I also did these workouts several years ago. They are very effective. I agree that an HRM would be the best way to track your burn on this one. If you don't have one you can get them pretty inexpensivley at most retailers. I bought one for about $20.
  • Golden Graham's Treat Bars.....they have golden grahams, choclate chips and marshmallows in them. Yummm! 130 calories....a little bit more than i normally allow myself for a snack. I usually save them for work out days. :)
  • It's totally normal, it's happened to me too. It bothered me at first but then I just had to tell myself I would rather have smaller boobs then have the weight back on!

  • Yummy!!!!!!!!!
  • sea-bands!!!!!!!! you buy them at the pharmacy dept. and they are wrist bands that affect your pressure points so you won't get car sick. My son has always had bad car sickness and these work for him! They are awesome.
  • Chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate in any shape or form, oreo's.........the list could go on!
  • Just Dance 2 for the Wii is fun and a pretty good work out. It will get you sweating and your heart rate up and you'll have a good time while your at it!
  • I bought a copy of 30 Day Shred last night. I am going to have my husband do it with me. I am in pretty good shape (I go to Jazzercise classes 3-4 times a week) but I just feel like I need something extra. And I think it would be fun to do some kind of excersise with my husband. He is sick with a cold right now but as soon…
  • Thank you. You don't see vegans and vegetarians jumping on the primal and atkins threads and bashing meat eaters. It's a personal choice and I'm the only one of my friends (in RL) that is a vegetarian. They don't push meat on me and I don't throw my beliefs on them. [/quote] Exactly! It would never even cross my mind to…
  • I have given up meat for the most part for the past 9 months. I occasionally eat chicken and turkey (about 2-3 times a month) and I wouldn't eat any at all if it wasn't for the fact that I live with three meat eaters in my house and it's hard to cook myself seperate meals every night. My reasoning is for health. If you…
  • I eat vegetarian 90% of the time. Over the holidays I did slip into eating turkey/chicken again. In doing so I noticed that I didn't have as much energy and I tend to have digestive problems when I eat meat. When I eat vegetarian I just feel so much more energetic, light and healthy. For me, that's proof all in itself that…
  • I have Just Dance 2 and it is a really good workout. It doesn't take long to work up a sweat and it's fun too!! I use it to get my workout in when I can't get to Jazzercise class.
  • I am 5'4 and currentley weight 132. My goal is to weight 125 by March. I am starting to track my meals better and I am continuing my excercise routine. I take Jazzercise at least three times a week. I am going to try to bump it up to 4-5 times a week to burn more calories. Let's keep each other motivated!!!!
  • Thanks for the ideas! I am just starting to get a taste for coffee. I've tried to switch over to regular with creamer and sugar and I'm just not there yet. I think it will be a gradual taste adjustment! I do get the white choc. mocha made with skim milk but it's still loaded with sugar. I think i might try the carmel…
  • That's a good idea. I've eaten fiber one bars before and they are pretty yummy. I used to eat them for snacks a couple of years ago. Thanks for the idea!
