+1 on the advice about pace.Its not recommended to increase time or distance by more than 10% or you risk injury Disclaimer this advice comes from man who has had to take a week off with "runners knee" from doing too much to soon lol

Ive got a 305 and it is excellent and has improved my speed as it tells you your pace so you know if you need to speed up / slow down

I love my I pod but left headphones at home by mistake and ran for 10k in under an hour for the first time good result but boring

Take a deep breath and then move on.Be realistic we are not going to live like saints every day for the rest of our lives sometimes well overeat sometimes we wont exercise The other day I brought a box of healthy biscuits and ate the lot in one go 800 calories and Id already had breakfast and lunch

These DVDs only work if you actually do them the same way this site works if you keep to the nutrition stated.Use the 50 quid to maybe find a gym that does cheap rates.....they often do for off peak times...try YMCA or local council run gyms. Most important listen to the advise offered coz this is not people selling you…

Echoing what the others say....dont waste money on pretty running outfits and invest it all in decent running shoes.I have started from scratch and can now run for an hour Dont increase running time/distance by more than 10% a week or you risk injury

I was exactly the same , start off with the best intentions but only last about 3 minutes as its easy to stop the treadmill.I started running outside in Feb and yesterday ran for 58 mins without stopping The trick is to ignore your mind and body when they want to give up after a few mins and then it gets easier
