Yep, I do! My initial weight loss goal is to lose 130 pounds, but I still will need to lose a lot more weight from there to get to my Ideal Body Weight (which is not my goal). However, right now I'm focusing on lifestyle/thinking changes and losing "slow but steady." If you want to friend me, please do. Support along this…

At a water park: walked up a 3 story climb to get to a water slide. At the top, I was not winded. Then, the glorious descent down the water slide at break-neck speed! Something I haven't done in nearly a decade. Huge NSV for me!!!!!

Way to go! I am amazed at how important the NSV's have been for me this time around. Just being able to walk up a flight of steps without taking 5 minutes to recover is a huge accomplishment for me. So, onward, and keep on rollin'!

Drink lots of water. All day long. Drink, drink, then drink some more. It becomes a habit really quickly. Best wishes!

My first 30 or so pounds were completely diet. At that point, I wanted to add stuff because I was feeling a lot more energetic. Now I'm on an eliptical about 5 days a week for 21 minutes each day. I've lost almost 80 pounds now. I think I could have without the exercise, but I think it would have taken me much longer to do…

Keep in mind that I am starting from a really high point, and need to lose a lot of weight to get even close to my ideal body weight. I went with the recommendation from MFP of a target of 1800 calories to start. In the first days, that is about where I was. But, as I got in the swing of things, I found myself not hitting…

Congratulations on your NSV! I am finding that this wonderful tool has completely changed the way I think about what I'm putting in my mouth every day. I never thought I would say this, but the thought of going to a fast food joint actually causes me anxiety! First, I'm looking to see what the calories are on what I want…

I'd like to say that I get to 40 pounds total lost by Valentine's day (only 1 pound to go). But I'm all about the NSV's these days. So maybe, with the help of my new fitbit, my Valentine's day goal will be to walk 10000 steps/day every day between now and then. That, and hopefully get to 40 pounds.

What an inspiration! As a person starting from about where you did, it's great to see such a transformation. Thank you for sharing!

I hadn't gotten on the scale in probably about 8 months. I knew I was gaining weight, and I felt horrible, but I did not have the courage or motivation to make a change just yet. Then I got on the scale, and I had gained 40 pounds from the last time I had weighed myself. I knew that if I didn't do something to change right…

I haven't lost 100+ yet, but I need to lose much more than that and have no plan to use anything but MFP. I've been doing this since November 29th of last year, and have lost 26 pounds. This is with multiple "cheats" throughout December, including having pizza twice, a bunch of cookies at a party, and a couple of stops at…

Feel free to add me too! Just been logging consistently for about a month, and am willing to give (and hopefully receive) support.
