I have been wondering the same, I stay under 20 net and some days end with more fiber than carb so my carb net count is actually negative. Not seeing a weight loss like I'd like, so wondering if I should count total instead of net and try to stay under 20.?? Any suggestions?

I was raised on skim so I can't drink anything but it. My kids were raised on it as well. Skim has the same amt of calcium as Vit D milk.

I like frozen yogurt better, it's not as soft as ice cream, calorie-wise, theres not a huge difference, but enough that you can throw a TBSP of chocolate syrup on it:)

I add a 5 calorie piece of gum, all vitamins, which was surprising some have calories, etc That stuff can all add up fast if you don't log it all!!

the only thing I can think of is choose high calorie items, such as PB, which has healthy fat, etc in it. maybe eat a waffle w/ PB on it for breakfast==300+ calories, then a PB & jelly sandwich for lunch=480, snack on nuts (their hjigh in calories), and eat like pasta for dinner, its high. Nope! Gotta have my creamer! Its something I really enjoy, hence I count it on my diary. I think if its something you enjoy, figure it in and have it. You can't deprive yourself of all the stuff you love.

Forgot to add, the fitbit syncs up real easy too!! I leave my toggle plugged into my work computer and anytime I get within 20feet of it, they sync info. When I'm not at work it syncs with my iphone---have to have at least a 4S though, it won't sync with just the 4. I clip it on in the morning and forget its there, just go…

i use my fitbit daily, yes it does track calories, but it does not give them all back to you when it 'talks' to MFP. MFP 'averages' the amt, which seems like a reasonable amt to me. I love my fitbit, I use it during zumba class as well. The only thing on the fitbit I look at is the steps, all the other info I let it talk…

I bought a protein bar called revolution, it has 20g of protein, 1g of sugar and only 180 calories, thats not too bad considering it taste sorta like a snickers, has caramel, nuts, nougat and chocolate. Hate olives!!! I won't even eat pizza if at any time olives were on it, it is not possible to pick them off and not still taste the juice from them being on it! Its weird cause I love other 'slimy' foods, like can mushrooms, pickles, etc.
