Abs are built in the kitchen..still cooking up mine! But heavy weights and cardio combined are great. There's purpose for both! But if you eat junk food all the time but workout your results will come slower..diet has so much to do with it!

Not really too much in either...I'm pushing myself hard. My diet could definatly do some improvement but this time of year, whose diet doesn't suffer. I also had to cut back my food bill :(

I've been doing some heavy lifting lately. About 2-3 months and I haven't been making much progress. Perhaps my diet isn't right? Any tips? Meal plans? I'm on a real tight budget because its winter and work is slow.

you are probebly doing just fine. its hard not to see any weight loss on the scale because that seems to always be our focus. but stick with it and dont be discouraged. you will see results.. working out and eating right, how could you not?

how would i get any higher in proteins? i eat eggs for breakfast a protein shake for lunch, protein bar for snack, and chicken for dinner?

That's the thing! I get plenty of sleep. My mom always mad fun of me saying I always needed Atleast 8 hrs of sleep or I would be grumpy and mean. And I get my 8 hrs of sleep! But I'm still tired. And I stay at the gym for 2 hours because it feels awesome. I like to workout. Lol

planning is definatly key! Keep in mind that they do sell sort of healthy food at gas stations and fast food places. Salads arent terrible. Just look up a fast food place while driving on your phone and pick that place when you stop. Pick out a protein bar/Shake at the gas station. they almost always have those!

i was 15 when i had my first child...almost 16. Feel free to add me. I had gained about 50 lbs with that pregnancy! i started at 107lbs and went all the way up to 157 !

you refuse to eat something inless you can log it on mfp or better yet checking to see if you have enough calories to eat that food.

Ive gone through 2 kids and the transition from bassinet to crib is hard. they go from a comfy tighter space to a large size crib. You could try a few things. simple enough....if your losing inches but not the lbs..its just because your gaining muscle and losing fat. Eventually the scale will go down. But dont be dissapointed in yourself. ive been going at this almost a full year and im stuck at 20lbs weight lost. i feel so much better though knowing im doing my body some good.

I can definatly relate. As a matter of fact I just had chips, Halloween candy and some cookies after having an awesome diet day. Go figure right?
