I realized during my loss period that it was the smell of donuts that I actually loved, not the taste. My co-workers would tease me because I would come by the box just for a whif. One time a lady said, "I bet you miss them, huh?" I replied, "yes, but I don't miss my back fat." Now that I'm in maintenance, I eat them. Fo…

This is what I've done to maintain. Works pretty darn well.

I went to meet my newest nephew a couple weeks ago, and my youngest sister took some photos of me loving on him for the first time. I stared and stared at the photos, I could not believe how tiny I looked. I kept thinking it was a trick, but it was me! I met my goal in December and my brain still hasn't caught up. Give it…

Oatmeal, PB2, pretzel snaps, at least 4 kinds of tea, RAW protein, Tuna packets, gum, Skinny Pop popcorn, 2.5 gallon of water, Trader Joe's wasabi seaweed. Chocolate for others, ha.

Even in maintenance, I have daily "swings" sometimes 5lb worth! That does not mean I gained back 5lb of fat. I could have eaten too much salt, not enough water, etc, etc. Don't beat yourself up, and keep doing what got you this far! Things slow down in the end, the only answer you need is patience and perseverance.

Use it daily.

Wow!! Keep up the good work!

I lost the weight for my dog! :) We do canine agility and our instructor said: "even if you lose 50lb you won't be able to keep up with her!" So I went and lost 90! I feel so much better and we are winning more and more!

This. (see ticker)

I did 130 by 30 as my self-challenge. It took me 17.5 months to lose the 90 lb. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen by your birthday!

Worthy of celebration! Congrats.

I had that problem...until I started looking awesome. No one says anything anymore. :)

If it goes in my mouth, it goes in the diary. (At least, when I was in the "losing" stage)

Great idea on the muffin pan! Thanks!

The stock can be used for cooking rice, quinoa or use for making chicken & noodles - basically anything you'd use canned chicken broth for.
-
An oval crock will work best. I *almost* quartered 2 onions so they made little "cradles" for the chicken to sit in, so as not to touch the sides. No broth required. Season as desired (although there are many good recipes out there). If you want to make broth afterwards, take the chicken out after 8-10 hours, remove meat,…

Take baby steps. Don't expect too much too fast. Small changes along the way result in the big change you're looking for!

QFT. And - You can if you want to. Looking forward to your success story!

INCREDIBLE! Congrats on this monstrous achievement!

Great work, keep it up lady!

Keep up the good work! Nicely done!

Fire baked bread. Any variety. There is a place here that bakes amazing brick oven bread... you haven't lived until you've tried it.

It was so bad - there are no words. I tasted it for hours afterwards... uhg. Now what to do with this giant container of protein.

Pre-logging helped me immensely. I'd even do two or three days in advance, which was motivation to plan for and shop for healthy meals.

Inglehoffer Applewood Bacon Mustard, splash of lemon juice, dill relish. Yum!

Same here.

Gorgeous! Great work.
