Yes I am here.

Thank you! My Levo level is off per my Endocrinologist. I am going through labs again. I have not lost any weight the last year and I am slowly creeping up again. I am ten pounds from my goal. I am so tired of trying to keep my exercise going but I know it is a must because I have no thyroid and am dependent on the…

Visited my endocrinologist yesterday and I am seven years cancer free! Everything looks great with no adjustments. I have lost 40.4 pounds since my thyroidectomy with five to seven more to go. We can do it but it is a constant battle to balance food, exercise. This is where MFP comes in. I love the macro nutrient input. I…

Sending good thoughts your way and hoping that you are still cancer free.

So sorry to hear of your recent troubles with your thyroid meds. I really hope you are doing better now.

Welcome to the group! What has helped me is the constant tracking and exercise. I am post rai and throidectomy by two years. I am feeling great. I have a weight goal of forty more pounds, having lost thirteen so far. I have a follicular Huerthle cell Cancer which is currently under control. My docotor monitors my blood…

Thank you for the feedback. I will keep this in mind when I see her again. My problem is my insurance is messing me up. With this new insurance program, my insurance guy recommended one with a lower deductible which includes my doctor when I am home but I am finding that being a "snowbird" in the winter has it's…

Well, the lab results came in and she lowered it to 75 mcg from 88 mcg. She says I am still a little hyper. I was suppose to have a thyroid ultrasound in January but now she wants to redo the blood test, adding a thyroglobulin test to the T3 and T4 tests. Depending on the results of those labs, she will let me know if I…

Well, I went Nov 3 for the blood test. I am now waiting for the results!

I will be two years this coming December. I will have my next thyroid us in Jan. I will let you know what they find. Dr. mentioned something in the left side of my neck but said it wasn't lymph node related to I am curious now.

Thanks for the info. I get my blood test in another couple of weeks. I feel good and am sleeping better. My blood pressure is way normal now. Sorry it took so long to answer. My computer crashed and hopefully will be up again soon. I will let you know the results. Take care.

Thank you for the advice. It sounds like what happened! Hopefully the weight will continue to come off. I went to water aerobics this am and weighed myself when I was done and had dropped four pounds! Maybe the gain was water weight. So glad your tests were in the normal range also. Please keep in touch.

When do they begin giving you injections to find negative cancer results? It is one and half years since I had my TT. So far, just followed up with thyroid us so far. Is this something I should ask about. I have Hurthle cell cancer and a very small amount of residual tissue left.
-
Yes results are possible. Don't give up. For me, it comes off very slowly. I have to log everything, food and exercise wise.

We were going to leave AZ next week but now it looks a trip to the dentist is necessary for my husband before we leave. Hopefully, we will return to Washington sometime before June.:ohwell:
-
PS: Where is your picture taken at on your ticker? We will be heading home to Washington soon.
-
I hope you are feeling better soon! What you have been through sound absolutely awful! Please keep in touch.

Thank you for answering. I am still debating whether to add this supplement to my routine. :flowerforyou:

For muscle aches have any of your doctors recommended taking a supplement of magnesium, zinc and calcium?
-
What is pcos?
-
Thank you! But what about the calcium and iron in breakfast foods? Just wondering.

Your story is a major horror story! I am so happy that you are feeling a little more normal now. I cannot understand how our doctors can let nodules go so out of control as in your case. In my case, I didn't even know I had a thyroid issue. If I had symptoms, I did not realize it. That is why I consider myself very very…

No. To me, water is water.

Yes, I love it there. We winter in Arizona and return in the spring. I love the fall there.

I didn't realize HCTZ helped with calcium absorption. That may explain my muscle aches and pains I've experienced. My doctor has said I should get my vitamins from my food but I don't think supplements hurt. Thank you for the information. I do take Viactiv calcium chews twice a day. I am feeling good though since my…

I also like to swim, bike, walk and dance.

I love Leslie Sansone DVDs! I use about four different walks. Where I live in the winter months, we have a group that does them regularly 4 times a week. Mondays we do the 2 mile, Tuesdays we do the 3 mile, Wednesdays and Thursdays we bump it up to 4 miles. Like she says, only do what you can.

I noticed that my blood pressure pill has HCTZ in it. I thought it was a diruretic. I have been on these pills for a long time now and was hoping that if I lost weight (I have a ways to go) that I might not have to take them. I am glad you mentioned what your endo said about taking the calcium supplements as I am still…
