My go to is fruit. Lately I've been snacking on Trader Joe's golden raisins. I also bought some 85% dark chocolate squares for when I just can't resist the cravings. It satisfies the chocolate urge but isn't sweet enough to send me into a binge. Good luck! Let us know your progress along the way.

I use cauliflower in almost any dish that requires rice (broccoli cheese casserole, shrimp jambalaya, fried rice). I've also used it as a substitute for potatoes (mashed potatoes, shepherds pie, potato salad). You can find tons of recipes for these and others on Pinterest.

Don't focus on being skinny; focus on being healthy.

I usually add a teaspoon of decaffeinated coffee crystals and a cup of unsweetened almond milk and blend it like a frappucino. Tastes a lot better and less medicinal and chalky this way, at least I think so.

I just save it to "My Meals" and then its there to select whenever.

Here's to great success on Medifast. In regards to the soup, try mixing it with low sodium chicken broth and adding in approved veggies, lean protein, and/or shritake noodles. It's an approved version of traditional chicken noodle soup. As for other L&G ideas, there are tons of resources online where you can find recipes…

They are an acquired taste. If you try them with the presumption that it will be like real pasta, you will be disappointed. If however, you understand that these are a pasta-like substitute, you may be able to deal with them. I've tried them (fettuccini, angel hair, & spaghetti) but my kids refused to eat them. It may have…

I bought a sewing machine and altered the really nice pieces. The trick to altering was to be sure to cut out the excess fabric so there was no room for letting them out. I want to be able to notice immediately if I'm gaining weight by the fit of my clothes. I sold some in yard sales, gave some to family/friends, and…

Two weeks ago, I bought a size 10 formal gown for my 25th HS reunion and was ecstatic that it fit beautifully. Two nights ago, I decided to try it on again to see how it looked with the shoes and accessories and it's now too big. I don't have time to send it back so I'm having it altered.

Have you considered getting a health coach? I started Medifast in February and my health coach has been a true life saver. When I started out, I felt so isolated and alone on this journey that I almost gave up. But then I found a truly awesome lady (group of ladies) that motivate me and encourage me. We share recipes,…

Congratulations on your great progress thus far. I'm a few weeks into Maintenance now and totally understand how you feel. In fact, I went through the same thing. I actually put off adding bread for an additional week then finally gave it a try. Now just over a month later, I am happy to say that all is well and eating…

What's the expiration dates on them? If it's current, I'd love to have it all.

Don't panic. Remember you still have your lean and green meal as "real food". So if you are craving a breakfast sandwich, use the MF pancakes for bread, scramble about 1/4 cup egg betters, and add some turkey bacon or canadian bacon. Voila!, OP breakfast sandwich. Medifast works, but you have to work it. It takes a bit of…

Just for today I will stop obsessing about failing (what if I gain it all back) and celebrate how far I've come (down 44 lbs) and recommit to one day at a time.

Your girdle no longer fits (its too large). You no longer need a girdle. You no longer have to schedule mommy daughter pamper nights cause you can now paint your own toenails. You have to buy new underwear because the old ones are now too large (yeah, even the bras). Your feet have shrunk in size and width.

I had the same problem with my daughter when she was around that age. The solution was to get her involved in things she was interested in. I signed her up for hip hop dance classes. She went to volleyball camp and basketball camp. I also started making small gradual changes in her diet, such as baked chips, fresh fruit or…

My favs are the pancakes. In addition to pancakes, I use them to make crepes, tortillas, cupcakes, muffins, and cinnamon rolls. Just add 1/8 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp flavored extract of your choosing, 1/4 tsp spice of your chooing such as cinnamon, pumpkin spice, unsweetened cocoa, and 2.5 tbsp water. Microwave for 35-40…

1. fast food (make baked sweet potato fries and veggie or turkey burgers at home) 2. all buffet restaurants (focusing on portion control and buffets totally defy this concept) 3. donuts and pastries (too much sugar and total carb overload) 4. cold cuts and hot dogs (too many nitrates and too much sodium) 5. all fried foods

My favorite is using the pancakes or oatmeal to make cupcakes or cinnamon buns. Add a little cream cheese icing and these are delicious. I also like using the puffs for bread crumbs to make oven fried zucchini chips, or baked chicken strips, or baked mockaroni and cheese and tonight I'm using them to make baked jalapeno…
