  • Doro wat Injera Very cool that you got to try her native foods!
  • My fiance' is Australian. Although I am American, people say I sound French. I love British and Australian accents.
  • He's not playing you, but it sounds like he's just not that into you. If a guy really wanted to be with you, he'd make the effort to do that. There are better fishes out there in the sea.
  • I count all veggies. They do have calories and other nutritional information, ya know. I understand you're following WW points, so I would suggest that you track all your calories including vegetables for a couple weeks, and then the next couple weeks just the WW points. That way you can see how they compare and work for…
  • ^^ This! ^^ I'll have a cheeseburger protein style, well done fries animal style with peppers, and the Neapolitan please!
  • My dreams that recurs: - A red Godzilla-like dinosaur walking through my hometown and taking the roof off over my head in my childhood bedroom. - Dangerous Whale Shark-sized creatures filled olympic sized pools. I kept getting pushed into the pool. (I'm a swimmer) -Short green alien with giant eyes chasing me around our…
  • That my soon-to-be-hubby (would be hubby at the time of goal is reached) won't groan when he tries to pick me up. ;) And finally to be honest about my weight on my ID/license.
  • HI!!! I was reading the description for YakTrax and wanted to correct your statement.... it says -41. (negative 41 F), so you should be good to go with these if you're up to it. I'm not one to know anything about it since I'm in Southern California which is currently experiencing a heat wave.... good luck! :)
  • Big fan! I "dip" my apple slices into it. I add to smoothies. I sprinkle onto my oats. Bell Plantation sells direct. http://www.bellplantation.com/ (I do all this dry -- I don't add water -- except for smoothies, my personal preference)
  • Coffee snobs may stuck their noses at me, but I add instant coffee to my hot and cold water in the mornings. I also dilute juices (because I have lots of juices left over still) -- I prefer sodium free sparkling water so it tastes and feels like a soda. I've done this for a bachelorette weekend away, my iced water with…

  • I was thinking that as I made my dinner last night -- it looked like 2 servings (and it was -- saving the 2nd serving for today), and it was still under 300 calories for it (it was veggies with grounded turkey and eggs, yum!!)
  • I bought my dress through netbride.com Their prices are very good (usually right at MSRP). I tried on my dress (tried on several dresses at a boutique and at David's -- sorry I didn't like any at David's). Of course the prices the boutique quoted was hundreds of dollars more than what I was quoted at netbride.com (yes I…
  • I'm 32. Most of my weight gain was from sedentary jobs and lack of free time (to exercise), and when I had the time, I discovered a love of food and beer. Heaviest: 199 Lightest (as an adult): 145 (from running and surfing - best full body conditioning exercise!) Current weight: 178 Goal weight: 150 (but I'll be happy to…
  • Dancing like a fool around the house. I personally love swimming (I swam for years), but it does require "equipment" -- a POOL! Running is great. I started walking long distances recently and I find myself enjoying that (only in the early mornings and at night when it's cooler, and less crowded).
  • Fun! Citizen of USA Mexico (too many times) Canada Aruba UK (4 xs) Ireland Netherlands (Amsterdam) France (3 xs) Jordan Australia (moving there at end of year, also)
  • I'm 5'8.5"-5'9" and have been in size 12/14 for a long time (even during my skinny years). Have to thank my hips and muscular thighs for not being able to squeeze into anything smaller. I'd be thrilled if I ever reach size 10.
  • Absolutely NO perfume.
  • When a man has nice, clean hands. I got my fiance to stop biting his fingernails so now he has beautiful hands (even through he's in construction) :smooched: Veins on back of hands and arms. Non-physical: A dude who can actually smile and laugh at my quirks.
  • I love turkey jerky. But I don't eat them often.
  • 1) Hit the snooze button one or two times. 2) Peek through one eye at my Blackberry to see if I have any good emails. 3) Drag myself into the bathroom.
  • January 2nd this year. We're getting married this December! My cousin-in-law mentioned him to my mother at Christmas time. Because I'm a "oh, yeah, that's cool" nonchalant type of girl, I brushed it away. She ended up texting me last minute to invite me to hang out with her and her friend's family (he happens to be the…
  • Another suggestion, If you can, try to stay as far from the road side (so there's some distance from someone trying to grab someone). Also switch up your routes. Don't make it consistent/routine - that they'd figure how where/when you'd be.
  • Gorgeous! Your story is inspirational. Thanks for sharing!
  • I totally know what you mean about feeling like an Amazonian next to girlfriends! I'm 5'9" My goal is to go back to what it says on my driver license which is 145. I have about 35 lbs to lose.
  • It has been suggested that breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day -- your metabolism spikes after awakening. Lunch should be smaller. Dinner should be smaller than lunch.
  • :) Actually Marmite is pretty easy to find -- in the British section of most supermarkets. I get Vegemite sent over to me by my fiance. He's so lucky to have me ;)
  • :) Love this story.

  • Would love to hear "way to go" motivation and I do the same. Mostly focusing on portion control, and I do some running. I'm also a bride-to-be who doesn't have a membership to a gym.
  • I pretty much ate the same I do now but in bigger quantities. Cheese and dairy products were outrageous. It truly ticked me off finding out how much just a measly slice of cheese counts against daily goals. Also I threw out the remaining 1/4 of a take-home pizza because I couldn't believe one measly slice was 290 calories.…
  • Vegemite or Marmite. Add a dab to your toast (I put more because I love the taste). I usually feel really satisfied. Peanut butter to your ramen, noodles. Caramelized onions (you can speed up the cooking time by microwaving cut onions for several minutes then sauteing them). Balsamic or cider vinegar. I also second the…
