I'm an inch shorter than you with a 129lb goal weight. I'm 13lb off that and people have started telling me not to lose any more.

Somebody on here said their doctor told them it take two years of maintaining your lower weight for your skin to settle.

I can't open the link :-(

I get embarrassed all the time, particularly when people make a fuss. I think it's because I realise how bad I must have look before.

Oooooo yes. I haven't stuck to my diet at all on any weekend. I burn about 700-800 calories per day in the week and eat about 1600. The at the weekends I still do the cardio but I don't track anything I eat or drink. I eat and drink a lot because I'm very sociable and that's what my friends and I want to do when we get…

4 lb gone since Monday. I wasn't going to bother this Friday as it has only been 4 days but I just felt 'lighter' somehow. I can't believe. A few weeks ago I thought it would be impossible for me to get below 11st. Now I'm bearing down on 10st. Chuffed today.

I was told today in work that the reason I was cold was because I need some fat of my bones

Fantastic!

Looks like more than 45lb too!
-
Seems like you were always a cutie but now you're a beauty.

I weighed in yesterday because I had a feeling I was lighter and I just couldn't wait. 2lb off in six days.

My fiancé tells me all the time that I look great and he can see/feel how much weight I've lost. It's nice when other people notice but when it's someone I see everyday, it's even better and when it's the man I'm walking down the aisle to next year, it's the best.

Love it! Well done.

I'm a Friday weigher because I cheat most weekends.

Agreed. If you weigh yourself to often it's not real weight loss you're seeing. It's fluctuation in hydration or even what you're carrying in your digestive tract. 1600 is roughly what I eat every day that I don't go to the gym, which has got me an average 1.5 - 2 lb per weigt loss for 14 weeks. That's widely conceded to…

The healthy BMI range is so big. At 5'7" mine is 9st up to 11st 6lb. So now I'm at 10st 12lb I'm not losing weight because I 'need' to any more I'm doing it because I want to. I suppose some people find it strange that some one would diet when they don't need to but I have felt deprived at all since I started this. They'll…

I was having trouble sleeping a little while ago and after reading a bit of information, I discovered that insomnia can be a symptom of starvation. Apparently, the body starts dumping adrenalin into the blood stream to energise you again and if it does it at night, you'll never nod off. I started eating a littl bit more…

It's taken years off you, as well as pounds.
-
I love that, although I did 'miss the window' on items of clothing I'd been saving.
-
Well done!
-
Very impressive. You look tall, are you?
-
My Aunt, who hadn't seen me in about five years, didn't recognise my at my Cousins funeral and everyone else just told me I looked great. I'm about halfway there. 100 pounds is an incredible achievement. Sx

Hi Generally, I'd expect you to have lost something in the first week because when you first go on a detox/weight loss programme and reduce your carbs intake, you'll be holding a lot less water in your tissue. If your are genuinely overweight and you haven't already seen your physician, I would do so if you haven't lost…

Recommending you avoid the juices too. They'll eat into calorie allowance and the fructose will make you hungry too. Have you thought about faloured waters?

Well done!

Exercise is the key. I burn 750 calories per hour on a treadmill by brisk walking on a 10% incline. Also green vegetables add a lot of bulk e.g. two servings of Asda Bistro Salad for 44 calories.
