I don't have RA, just plain ol sore because I'm fat pain and this WOE took care of this. I have been off the wagon the last few weeks and OMG can I tell! Even my dh noticed I am a stiffened up mess. I am back on it today and I hope it won't take long for this to go away again.

At Subway I get the salad made with spinach, no regular lettuce and double chicken. I have them put double the sprinkle cheese on and whatever topping I am feeling. Sometimes add bacon or avocado. Oil type dressing. That one is easy.

Any sweets. I have a hard time saying no because I love them. I always crave them, sometimes more, sometimes less but it is always there. If I nap during the day I wake up craving carbs like a junky. My blood sugar is fine but I just crave them so I have to be careful.

I had a bit of surgery today and they gave me a saline IV. After, I was so hungry and craved carbs badly! I haven't felt like that in months. I am giving myself the day off to just eat whatever and I am back on the LC train tomorrow. I hope all goes well with your surgery!

My go to when I am craving sweets is sugar free jello. I love that stuff!

Every prescription I filled I would get big shifts. It was never consistent. When I felt good, I felt really good and I liked it but it got to the point where I couldn't get it filled because they weren't manufacturing enough. Now my insurance won't cover it anyway so it doesn't matter.

If Armour isn't available to you, you can take Cytomel with your Synthroid. That's what I do because the desiccated is so unpredictably made.

My tolerance hasn't gone down any but I have cut back. I am not super low carb so I just make room for the drinks.

I go thru periods where I am not hungry for days and then suddenly I get more hungry so it balances out.

I don't track weights either. Just swimming or is I do recumbent bike.

It's a myth but I don't eat after 7 because, unlike the folks above, I don't sleep well and I have weird dreams if I do. I also wake up starving if I eat right before I go to sleep. Do whatever makes you feel your best.

I always count my calories and eat back some of them on days I swim. Weight training days I don't eat them back. I shoot for 70g or less of carbs right now because it works for me. I may try to lower that in the future but I do it slowly and let my body adapt to it to see how I feel (meaning I don't do it for 3 days and…

Right now I am thankful for therapeutic blue gel and Aleve. I had on flip flops at work today and it was hard on my back walking on the hard floors.

I went thru Tim Hortons today and got a medium 2 cream. What I really wanted was a10 pack of Tim Bits. I resisted the urge and drove away with just my coffee. :smile:

Last night after the parent meeting for my son's hockey team, many of us went to the pub across the street. I had planned for 2 beers and left enough room in my carbs. The table ordered a huge tray of nachos, breaded and deep fried cheese balls and soft pretzels with cheese. I didn't touch one bite of it!! I wasn't tempted…

I don't really care for the saying "Eat to live, not live to eat" but it's true. I am slowly coming around to the thinking that food is fuel, not enjoyment. I do enjoy food, don't get me wrong, but I don't need to eat it all anymore to feel happy.

Sorry, I guess that wasn't very helpful lol. I used to eat all of that because it was in front of me. Now I just eat the omelette (sometimes a sausage link or two) and I don't need the rest. I slowed down my eating and am enjoying the food I eat. I don't need the starch and carbs, they just make me feel like poo anyway.
