You'll be fine. As long as you are eating at a calorie deficit, you'll still lose weight. Even in the worst case scenario where you lose at a slightly lower rate than you would normally, it's only for a month, so after that you'll be back on track. Not to worry :)

I have a Vitamix, but I got an amazing deal on it. There really is no comparison though. I use it every single day!

You might consider using a blender to make the shake the night before. As it sits overnight, the excess air and frothiness will escape, but it will still be mostly blended (it will settle some). Then in the morning, put it into a blender cup and just mix it gently so that you don't reintroduce too much air. Hopefully that…

For powders I like Optimum Nutrition. For pre-made drinks I like the EAS Carb Advantage drinks. For both brands I prefer the double chocolate, but I like their other flavors too.

If you do start to develop rashes take pictures every time that you can send to your doctor and can eventually be sent to the insurance company. Pictures are invaluable in the process of getting approved to have loose skin removed. Good luck!!

In a drunken stupor a friend and I once got up in the middle of the night and made sandwiches from left over egg-salad that was in her fridge. We never turned on the lights. In the morning when I went to get something out of the fridge I noticed the egg salad we had been eating was completely covered in mold. GAG!

I love running outside. When I run outside I often feel as though I could run forever. When I run on a treadmill I can hardly stand more than a five minutes before I want to jump off a cliff from the boredom. I know you said you don't want to run outside, but honestly you might want to consider giving it a try. It makes a…

I started out at 228 lbs. I am now 149 lbs. I still have a bit to lose, but I'm proof it can be done. Feel free to add me :)

I also do this. As long as the weekly total is still a calorie deficit, you'll still lose :)

That's true, but if they only have 80 lbs to lose than they really should only lose over two lbs a week for less than half of that time. In order to lose it all within 7 months that would mean they would have to lose significantly more than 2 lbs consistently during the first half of the losing phase in order to lose less…

Is it possible? Yes. Will it be easy? No. Is it recommended? No. To lose 80 lbs in 7 months you will need to lose about 2.75 lbs a week. It is recommended that you lose no more than 2 lbs a week for safe, healthy weight loss. Can you do it without changing unhealthy eating habits? Technically, yes. All you have to do is…

When we're losing weight, there are all kinds of negative, stupid, and thoughtless comments that go along with that. It is unfair for anyone to assume that it's easy for you to lose weight simply because of your gender. It's also not right for anyone to belittle your accomplishments. However, the person who said this to…

Thousands. Literally thousands when I add all the sticks I lost and then gained back and then lost again. :/

I'm sure the OP had no idea she was fat. What a service you just provided her by letting her know. Oh wait, it's right there in her username. I guess you weren't so helpful after all.

OP, I love your screen name. I wish I could exude a fraction of the confidence that you do. I applaud your openness and wish you well on your journey to fitness and health, regardless of whether the path leads you to weight loss or not. I would love if you added me as a friend.

Oh my girls are in a sad state. I've lost 76 lbs and my girls are like deflated balloons. If I could afford some new ones, I would jump at the chance. Actually, once I hit my goal weight, I will seriously consider scrimping and saving for them.
-
Wow. Congrats!!! :)

pretty much everything, but if I had a limited number of wishes I'd start with my face. I have horribly saggy jowls and uneven eyelids. I feel very ugly all time.

I'm 4'10" My starting weight was 228 lbs Current weight is 152 lbs. I don't have any progress pics yet. I'm waiting until I get closer to goal. I do feel much better now though. It's amazing what a difference the weight loss has made in my energy, and in my comfort level being in my own skin.

I know you want to get laid, but if you try on the first date, you'll never get a second date. If we go to a restaurant and you complain about the food or have it taken back, that will probably be it. There are exceptions, but not many because I don't want to date someone who is never satisfied and a first date is all…
