I'm an Underwater Welder... ok ok, I'm not really. It sounds cool though doesn't it ;) Research Associate

Have you been logging what you eat? If you open up your diary we can take a look and offer suggestions?

Pack a healthy picnic and have an enjoyable eating experience with a friend or significant other that doesn't involve going overboard on the cals? Or a sushi night with the girls? You can still celebrate with food, just make good lifestyle choices about the kind of food you celebrate with!

I've no experience with what you describe, but i'm a firm believer that sometimes just getting your feelings out there can make things a little better. The first step to fixing a problem with your life is admitting that one exists. Good luck, keep working on this and you will beat it. If you think extra support will help,…

I was thinking about this last night actually. If I wanted to 'run off' a pound, at my current weight it would take me around 40 miles to do so! However, it's not just about weight. It's about making your heart stronger, your cardiovascular system more efficient, your muscles more toned and your joints more supported.…

lol, is it the bit where he picks her up over his back and she flicks her feet up? If so, the dancer in me died a little too!!!!

Amazing example!!

Sorry about the video being on facebook! I searched for a you tube version of it but couldn't find the link :(

It's completely possible that sort term 'non-ideal' changes can act as a catalyst towards long term modified behaviour that is healthier than the person's previous lifestyle was. It is naive to assume we can jump from one lifestyle to another without transition, and it is also naive to assume that every transition towards…

Come on now, let's not all take ourselves too seriously. Recommended weekly weight loss figures are nothing more than 'rules of thumb.' They are projected based on the average persons weight etc. If you want to be completely scientific about it you would need to consider a persons height, age, weight, percentage body fat…

Why don't you both do it together for Charity instead. Get other people to pay a certain amount for every pound you lose. That way you can work together, but towards your own objectives. Edit: I've just read the above posts. Nothing wrong with Buddying up at all :D (We are such a supportive bunch, eh !!!! Someone posts…

Work sucks a*s. My pay is to small. So I'm filling my time with an MFP trawl. I should really run tests and evaluate data. But instead I read threads full of banter and chatter. :D

Are you exercising much at present? I think aiming to do both of these things will be tough if you aren't incredibly fit already. I run, cross train and do 30ds regularly but couldn't imagine being able to do two programs every day with only Sundays off!!

I just took a quick look at one of your diary entries and wow! You really are bulking! It's amazing how the same tool is used for such different purposes. If I ate that much in a day I would be freaking out!!!! Each to there own, I hope you're successful in your journey. Word from the wise though (or just old perhaps) -…

This sounds incredibly interesting. Are you telling me that a bf % of less than 22 can result in abnormal menstruation? I had no idea ?????

I'm lucky to be neither the sender nor receiver of drunken texts. That stopped a looooong time ago. I never thought about it before, but I guess it's a pretty good indicator of contentment when I don't feel the need to send that kind of junk and folk know it's a waste of time to send it to me!!! Thanks for making me feel…

I'd say well done for doing it the first time, but you need to be consistent if you want to increase your distance in the long term. If you're not running often, you wont be able to maintain let alone increase distance (and certainly not without risking injury). You need to run at least once or twice a week to maintain…

I was at a wedding once where the groom's brother and his partner wore a white suit and white dress respectively. I know people have different opinions but the one thing I will say was that a lot of people spoke very discouragingly about what they were wearing. If you want to avoid the opportunity for negativity, avoid…

About 4 years ago I literally couldn't run for 5 minutes without feeling like I was dying. Since then I have given up smoking, and persisted with my training and I can now run for about 45 minutes or thereabouts. I don't train as consistently as I should so i've never really made it past this mark. The truth is though that…

I retract this suggestion. After having made these a few times now, the novelty has worn off and I can safely say they are rubbish!!!! tee hee

There's a 2 ingredient cookie recipe you could try maki into a breakfast bar.... mix up one cup of oats with one mashed banana, make into cookie shapes and bake for 15 - 20 mins on a 180 degrees... The only prob with this recipe is they can be a bit 'cakey' in the middle, so I imagine they'd be even better as breakfast…

Mine was fish... but I read somewhere that if you try anything enough times you eventually like the taste. I struggled through and although it's def NOT my fav food type I now enjoy prawns, squid, scallops, cod, scampi, and salmon. Can't believe my tastes changed!

I have hand-like-feet... I can pick things off the floor with my toes, open doors and switch on and off lights with them. Weird enough, or should I think of something else?!!!

lol, did you click on his page by any chance?!!! :D If not, amazing guess!

Looks like he enjoys running on that wheel Call him Forest.. or Gump lol Alfie Oscar Blue My first one was called Monty, after General Montgomery. Technically a hamster is a desert rat, so my dad thought it would be a good name. Enjoy him, whatever you decide to call him
