Amazing job Gemma. You look wonderful. So proud of you for all your accomplishments. Goes to show you that All things really are possible with God. Keep up the great work.

This has been a definite eye opener of a post and made me realize that it MUST be a complete lifestyle change and not just a temporary fix. Thanks so much.

You just set an alarm and jump like you're gonna attack a bear :) before it attacks you. But really after you get a good workout in a few mornings, you'll realize how awesome you felt all thru the day that you'll start to crave it more and more and once you feel like crud if you miss that workout, you'll go back. It's like…

Whew that's a lot, HOWEVER now I don't feel like I'm overdoing it so much even when my family and friends look at me like I've totally lost every single brain cell. Cause I sooooooo do many of these things, but hey we do what works for us.

It's been 2 years since my husband bought me these boots. I wore them once and my calves were just too big for them to be comfortable. Yesterday I decided to try again and voila they fit very good, zipped up perfect and I wore them all day to church with no pain. Woooohoooo. Finally. The best NSV ever.

Amen to this. Amazes me how many have tried, not succeeded  , at sabotaging my entire lifestyle change. At a birthday party I brought along some cauliflower, broccoli and carrots in a bowl to snack on cause I knew everyone was eating some highly fattening not to mention greasy burgers, red hotdogs  and cake,…

Would love to have anyone here add me as a friend. My diary is open and we could all use the encouragement from fellow Christians. Thanks, Tammy

I would love to have you as a friend on here. Encouragement from someone who's been there would be great. I'm also a Christian and just looking for godly encouragement, tired of those who feel the need to even cuss in their typing. Smh

It's so hard to find fellow Christians on mfp. I don't know why that is but I'm so glad you posted this. Can some of you add me as a friend cause I need godly encouragement but not the constant cussing and drinking from some on here. I'm trying to lose a total of 80 lbs and getting my temple back in the healthy shape it…

I have a desk job as well and 3 kids at home but yesterday's steps were my highest yet cuz I utilized every second I could. So I went to bed with 23,323 steps. You can do this. It's all about mindset. I Walk the longer way to the bathroom (briskly), take stairs instead of elevator, use 45-50 minutes of my lunch to make…

I have so done this myself, only I made it seem better, you know I wouldn't drop any of it, by first adding peanut butter to the spoon then dipping it in the can. So so guilty

Amazing transformation...love the quote...I have also said many times "I'll start tomorrow" or Monday etc... etc...Thanks for this inspirational post I needed it today. I just got back on track this week and after losing 40 pounds last year, my job and location changed taking me away from the gym next door so I used that…

Well, I too would like to know how I could watch my sodium intake when its in everything we eat. Heaven forbid eat out 1x. I never realized how much sodium affected me but my husband mentioned it to me. I couldn't lose weight no matter how much under my calories I stayed nor how healthy I seemed to eat plus my hands and…

Sounds like you have your weight loss set at the max of 2lbs per wk. If so, change that to 1 lb a week or even 1/2 lb and that will give you more calories for the day. It;s virtually impossible and for me (mom of 5) unthinkable to go to bed hungry much less cut my calories from 4000/day to an immediate 1200. That'll make…

I wondered if I had posted this under an alias :) sounds just like me. I have been working at a desk job for 1 1/2 years now and have gained about 40'ish lbs. We constantly have people bringing donuts from the new Krispy Kreme that opened up in town and if that wasn't bad enough I work at a college so every time something…

That is the best news I have heard in a long while, congrats my friend. This gives me so much hope that the decision I have made to join and participate in MFP's program is definitely the right way to lose weight and get healthier. We can do this together, every step of the way. Congratulations once again and keep up the…
