Same here. I actually have Two HRMs. One with GPS for my outdoor rides and one for indoor exercise. The fitbit is used when not working out to give an accurate account of steps and activity levels.

When I started riding I thought I looked silly wearing one then my daughter asked me why she had to if I didn't. Wear it all the time now even when riding alone.

I bike all the time, both outside and inside on my recumbent, mostly because i can burn far more calories faster. Plus i have a bad leg and can't walk very far without pain.

Feel free to add me. I've been losing since June but only on here for the last month. It's not easy but well worth it when you can post before and after pics. Make sure you get pics and measurements as these will be a better guide and motivator than the scale. Good Luck!

Same as everyone else. Hard work and Better food choices. I ride my bikes everyday and just started 30 Day Shred. Just keep logging and it really does pay off. Tried Hydroxy cut and didn't lose a pound. Started working out and watching calories lost almost 40! Diligence and hard work pay off every time. Use the money and get a good Heart Rate Monitor!

I always work out first thing in the morning (even if it means getting up at 4am ) in order to work out on an empty stomach. When I fry it i use coconut or olive oil and saute it over medium with some asparagus and chicken breast or chicken sausage. Add some garlic and it is awesome!

I prefer biking. at a slow steady pace riding your fat burn will be far greater than the same amount of walking. On a typical 30 minute ride i will avg 400 calories. compared to maybe 150 walking for 30 minutes. i ride and hour every day and avg 1000 calories!
