I love Okra and just wanted to share some of its benefits with everyone.
Health Benefits of Okra

Okra is a superfood? This is news to me.
My mum would make this every saturday with ground rice or pounded yam (showing my roots there)
Its weird how i would complain about it, because i did enjoy eating it despite the slippery texture.
I think more people should definitely try it before dismissing it, especially knowing all of these benefits now!
The only problem i could see is a difficulty preparing okra and finding complimentary ingredients. If anyone could suggests any id be so grateful0 -
The only okra I've had has been fried and it was good. Maybe I should try it minus the grease.0

When I fry it i use coconut or olive oil and saute it over medium with some asparagus and chicken breast or chicken sausage. Add some garlic and it is awesome!0

love raw okra, always put it in my salad.
Boiled one also tastes nice, just put in on your soup.

Every other week a New "SUPER FOOD!" Let's just say, if it is Green, it's Super; Red, Yellow, Orange and Purple are "Great Foods!" and be done with it! Mumbling to Myself...nobody cares about the poor saps who can't eat some of this stuff because of diverticulosis or other ailments BUT are STILL HEALTHY, have Normal weight and all Health Markers are in Normal Range; take this Super Foods! :explode:0
