We all have bad days. I'm an emotional eater, too, as well as a busy mom. Sometimes life gets in the way of making excellent decisions. Tomorrow, get out of bed knowing that you have a brand new start and don't fret about what you ate in the past. The future is what matters. And there's always room for birthday cake!

 This! Doing something you actually enjoy is key. Or work out with a friend. My friends and I all do an MMA class together 3X a week, and it's a blast! Walking on the treadmill? No thanks. Kicking the cr@p out of something? I'll gladly do that for 2 hours! Good luck!

Even though they're not healthy, I get a box of Junior Mints. They're soft and creamy and have TONS of flavor. Who needs the 1000 calorie bag of popcorn if you have something just as tasty?!?

You look fantastic and I bet you FEEL amazing! Congratulations on your success, and keep on going, girl! :flowerforyou:

That's an NSV if I ever saw one! Congratulations on your success!!!

What a change! Way to go, and congratulations!!!

1. Don't be in a hurry. 2. Don't starve yourself. 3. Don't quit. That is all.

Good for you! Hope your feelings didn't get hurt. That's an amazing accomplishment! My hubby always acts surprised when he can feel my ab muscles under the layer of fat on my belly. But they ARE there, and he DOES notice, so that's good enough for me! And props for not having to suck it in!!!!!!!!

Fantastic and inspiring! Thanks for sharing!!!

So you don't have time to work out? That's fine. I've seen it said on MFP about 1000 times that losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise. Start with logging every bite that you put in your mouth. Drink lots of water. Set your goals to lose 1 pound per week at first. Don't go nuts and drop your calories to 1200 because…

Sorry, no pics. I had 6 glasses of Moscato earlier. Still feeling them, too.

Just keep working on it! My girlfriends and I started an kickboxing/MMA class in October. I could do 10 "modified" (also known as knee) push-ups. My friend could do 3. Last Sunday we did 500 modified push-ups. Yes, 500!!! We do some regular push-ups now, too. Just keep working on them. Do planks and other…

Brilliant advice!

Don't give up! That's guaranteed failure. You can do this! I was feeling the same was a couple of weeks ago. Looking at my last 90 days, I think you'll see why. First 60 (of 90) I lost 10 pounds. Seriously? 10 pounds in 60 days??? Over the next 3 weeks, I lost 0.6 lbs. Grrrr! Magically, in the past 10 days, my body has…

 This! I love using my Wii for fitness. I use EA Active, too, and it's an excellent workout! It's well worth the money, as are the Just Dance games and The Michael Jackson Experience game. They're fun and they get you moving. Best of all, time flies while you're dancing and before you know it, 45-60 minutes are…

Wow! Congratulations! That is a HUGE accomplishment in such a short amount of time. Yeah!!!!

Who knew 5 pounds could make such a difference? Great job! Weird question, but is that the same bra in both pics? If so, there are some major changes going on up there!

Calvin Klein for sure! I'd even watch the game if the guys all played in their undies! :smokin:
-
Great start! Remember to feed your hard-working body, though, if you want the loss to continue.
-
Great NSV! I can totally relate, too. I lost weight a few years back, but then regained it rather quickly. I was digging through boxes of "skinnier" clothes and found 2 brand new packs of undies... and they fit! Hooray and congratulations!

EAT ALREADY! I know this from experience. I struggled for 2 months to lose barely 4 pounds. I got sick and can't work out right now, and although I'm eating 1500 calories per day, I've lost 3 pounds this week alone. With NO exercise. I was busting my @$$ at the gym and eating under goal every day and saw nothing happening.…

My reaction EXACTLY!

The black bean brownies are FABULOUS! I made them for book club a couple of weeks ago, and the girls asked if they could take home the leftovers. Yummy!
-
Way to go! Four pounds is a LOT! Sounds like you're doing things right. Keep up the great work!
-
Keep it simple and just start! You might find that you can do more than one hour a week. Just listen to your body. It will tell you if you've pushed too hard. If you can only do one hour, it's still one hour more than you did before. Just start moving, add fruits and veggies to your diet and drink lots of water. Those…

Leslie Sansone DVD's are awesome! Give them a try. There are a TON!

What's wrong with walking? You could do short intervals, jogging slowly between longer walking intervals. Work your way up without making yourself sick. Personally, I love walking. Running, not so much. Good luck! You'll get it figured out.
-
Bravo! I can't wait for that day!
-
Agreed!

If they have time to stare at you, they aren't working out hard enough. I'd probably ask a creeper if I was doing the lift wrong or something. There should definitely be someone there to show you proper form. Don't let the rude people mess with your workout.
