Congratulations! I had the same experience. I still don't think I'll fit into larges when I get them off the hanger but somehow I magically do, lol.

Howdy stranger, lol. If you go read through the Beachbody message boards you'll come across a post by Steve Edwards, their Fitness Advisor and he basically says that Master Series wasn't meant to be a "program" like Power 90. It was more of an extension to challenge those folks who'd already finished but still didn't feel…

Another vote for Couch to 5k, I hated running until I started using that app.

Welcome to the group! 23 lbs is awesome, keep up the great work!

2 tucks, 4 supers, 12 punches, 16 kicks cdomoe: I've been counting each leg as 1 since that's what Billy does in the video.

Runners go against traffic, cyclists go with it.

2 tucks 4 supermans 12 punch combos 16 kicks

MFP determines your intake based on the data you give it. You can manually set it but I haven't really used that option.

Luckily I haven't run into any loose dogs in my area but 2 and 3 definitely. Most people I run past aren't all that talkative but I do get miffed by the chatting crowds that see you coming yet make no effort whatsoever to give you a little room, kinda like people who park blocking the sidewalk, lol.

10 burpees and 80 mountain climbers for me so far, keep up the great work all! :explode:

6781 stairs and 60 dips
-
It would appear you've lost muscle mass. Not uncommon in dieters if you don't do enough strength training. Start pumping a little iron so you don't lose any more :)
-
1780 steps today and 20 dips!
-
Aye Captain, heading out to the gym in a bit to knock out a few hundred more steps :)

If you have a Publix supermarket near you they usually have a big scale right by the front door. Everyone who walks in seems to step on it.
-
There's not a man alive that's gonna answer that question, lol.

Branford, CT here. Welcome to the site and good luck!

The number on the scale is only part of the equation. Body composition is the key. Build a little more muscle and while the scale may go up, you'll get that tighter, fitter look you're looking for. Extra muscle will also burn more calories so you may lose fat and keep that scale number about the same! Good luck :)

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Lifters use pre-workout stimulants like Jack3d so why not a cuppa joe?

Sorry to hear you're injured, hope it gets better soon! I've sent you a PM with the challenge pic link. BTW all, I just thought of my personal weapon: CONSISTENCY. Showing up for the fight every day whether I feel like it or not. Some days will be better than others but by paying attention to my food intake, logging things…

Gotta say I've let MS gather a little dust lately. Since I've started cycling to work and also joining the Living Dead Challenge I've let those activities serve as my workouts.

Sorry to have been so quiet team, lost power Sunday due to Irene and just got it back this afternoon. I've hit up the Stairmaster at the gym and got in an 1602 steps yesterday and 1200 today. No dips yet but I'll get 'em knocked out by Sunday. Keep it up!

Nobody just "starts running". We all have to start slow, do a little walking, do a little running, repeat. I used the Couch to 5k app for my phone. In 7 weeks I went from being a non-runner to my first 5k. You'll get there, it just takes time :)
-
Awesome job everyone! For my part, knocked out another 5 miles. Had to use the treadmill since Irene's raining on my parade. I set it to random and definitely got my cardio push it, 7.8% incline is tough! Weekly total 25 miles, 80 poses. I'll try to get some more in tomorrow before the challenge ends for the week.
-
Yup, only 40 airplanes total.
-
Don't feel bad, we'll all do some extra miles and poses to make up for it. Hope you feel better soon :)
-
Another 5 miles jogged today with sprints between telephone poles. Whew!
-
Now THAT'S the funniest thing I've read in a while, thanks :) And no, I haven't ridden a horse in years, MFP just cuts off the top of my pic unless you look at it in my profile, lol.

Hang in there Lobster, sorry to hear you're having such trouble and I hope they can figure out the problem. It doesn't matter how long you're sidelined as long as you get back in as soon as you can. You'll get right back into the swing of things before you know it!

Monday: Jogged 5 miles with 2 minutes of sprints, 40 airplane poses. Tuesday: Jogged 4.5 miles with a sprint for the last 100 feet or so. Wednesday: Jogged 5.5 miles with a sprint for the last 100 feet or so, 40 airplane poses.
