Huge fasting fan here. I fully agree it is a black listed topic. Regrettably.

Agree^ Meal replacements & shakes don't teach you how to eat.

I dont need support here. I have Dr Oz in my corner already. I eat under 1000 calories a day, take raspberry ketones, green coffee tablets, some diet shakes and am doing just fine. I suggest you do the same.

Thanks for this thread. I too recently have been slowly increasing my caloric intake. I started mid November at the 1200 as per the app presets (?) I gotta tell you, my hair was so thin by end of December. Mind you my appetite was very poor due to some personal issues and I ate quite consistently under that for ~6 weeks.…

I am that height; at my lowest in my early 20s I was 110, then 115, then 118... most manageable adult weight has been around 140 which I am currently shooting for. If you are active I think that the 130-140 range is best for someone who is fit and exercises moderately.

I have only been on an AD for 30 days now but while on it have continued to lose (I think since starting them I lost 9 lbs over 30 days which is in line with the rate at which I was losing before). Doctor told me it is largely your own efforts and not the medication that will cause gain or loss, although the ADs do have a…

I do egg white omelettes almost every AM. I add mushrms, 1oz shredded cheese (or 1TBSP salsa con queso nacho cheese =23 calories) little diced tomato, little green onion. Sometimes whatever meat's in the fridge, sometimes just vegetarian. Love egg whites! Wish they were sold in larger containers.

I suppose it's just the double edge sword: the meds are supposed to "calm you" and kind of produce a lethargic comatose state :p as opposed the the anxious nervous shaky energy that may exist. This coupled with your own mood & interest in activity just makes a perfect cocktail for weight gain for some people. I don't know…

I can relate on a few points (variation in weights, all or nothingness) although I can't offer any advice on the B/P or anorexia. Even at my lowest weight (110lbs in 1992 at age 19) I got to that weight by diet shakes (Herbalife) and exercise. BUT... I get ya! I know the need for redemption. For me, I feel comfortable…

I added you =) I'm in the same fight !

I apologize for bumping up an older thread but I am glad these testimonials exist. I am only less than 2 weeks on Citalopram, and in the funky side effect phase. I'm sure there must be more people especially this time of year on antidepressants. I am curious to see how it affects my weight loss journey (if at all?) and if…

What an AWESOME thread! I love it! Some of my weird things... -I grew up eating Cheez Whiz and jelly sandwiches. -I always butter my pancakes or french toast from the bottom so it sits on the butter and melts. -When I make toasted cheese sandwiches, or open faced, I salt and butter it before I eat it. -Srirachi hot sauce…

AHA! There we go. Ok. True story. I was just around 5 yrs old not too stable on my bike, wiped out on some rocks in front of mom. Taken to emerg and my parents were questioned by hospital doctors in seperate rooms because they didn't believe this was my face vs asphalt (Asphalt:1/ Me:0) I did survive, however!

Stupid Question(?) I have a Timex Digital Transmission Heart Rate strap and watch. I also have an iPhone through which I access my MFP for the most part. I suppose if I use my watch and strap I have to manually record the information about my exercise into the app right now... Does anyone know- is there an app out there…
