Based on what you put in as your weight and height will help determine how many calories you burn without any movement or exercise. It estimates how many daily calories you are burning including the calories burned during sleep.
-
Sounds great!

I see what you mean. I suppose if I cut down on carbs all around this is when I would see the most benefit of working out on an empty stomach. However if I continue to eat carbs and eat them later on in the day then they would not get burned off by exercise. Good points.

Thank you, I really appreciate all of the help and input!

Its not the time of the day, it has something to do with your body fasting throughout the night. When you wake up you have not eaten in 7+ hours. I've read it helps to burn more fat by exercising on an empty stomach in the morning. The caffeine in coffee and green tea is supposed to help speed up your metabolism

Thanks everyone!

Yes please. More people should make up fake stories like this. This is totally passing the time. hahaha
-
ps. I would have smashed his phone in tiny pieces and left it in a ziploc baggy at the front desk. HAHA

AGREED. I don't know if this story is true or not, but if it is...there is absolutely no way it has anything to do with weight. Could be two things: 1. Obviously this dude has serious trust issues. When he met you and seen that you were into him he probably got scared and worried that this happy situation would end badly…

Howie hahaha

See you guys at the finish line!!! And Good Luck! :-D

Thats so awesome that you guys felt so good afterwards. I am glad that you can see where I am coming from. Maybe I will give it a try! I guess it couldn't hurt. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Wow, another person who thinks they know everything. Thanks for the great advice. And this is why I barely ever post on here. Didn't plan on this being a battle, just actually had a very simple question.
-
Okay awesome. I have had several normal massages, so I will probably just stick to that. They do help a lot with helping sore muscles from working out.
-
I had tried dry brushing awhile back. I need to pick it up again. I don't know if it really helped with cellulite, etc but it made my skin super soft. Just trying to find more ways to feel and look better, no short cuts here.
-
Okay good to know. They have other types of massages that seem to be pretty cheap. The lymph massage was the most costly, well that and the hot stone massage which I have yet to try as well.
-
Okay, good to hear that it has some benefits. Thanks!
-
Asking if the massage helped with weight loss was just a part of my post. My main concern is if it was beneficial at all. A new massage place opened, they advertised a lymph massage, and I had no idea what that was. I do go to the gym, thanks.
-
Yeah that was a part of my post, but come on... I realize lowering calories and burning more causes weight loss. I was directing this post to people who know anything about lymph massage, since I do not know anything about it.
-
omg he totally does look like Brian from the Backstreet Boys haha
-
Alright, awesome. Good to know. I thought $70 seemed high, but I never really heard of a lymph massage before.
-
Okay, thanks I will look into it. I was mainly concerned with ways to release toxins, but I suppose all massages do that somewhat.
-
Okay, thanks for the amazing tip. I will probably lose tons of weight just from reading this. I was trying to see if anyone had any real benefit from lymph massage and if anything I read had any truth to it.
