Thanks for the responses! All makes a lot of sense, I just needed some clarification! Congrats on the success stories too :)

Yes :)

Isaack, Yes, I get that part of it but I am looking for reviews on BurstFire specifically. I am sure someone here has did it! I like these structure workouts like this :)
-
I forgot I started this discussion... after much research the HIIT workout given here has been beneficial in weight loss and fitness for others but for me I chose P90X3. Sorry for not updating this thread, I forgot all about it :)

Thanks for the info guys!

thart0, fuel the furnace -- hmm, I guess eh? It just seems like i'd be over eating.
-
Yes, I meant the shredder though? do I wait for that until next week instead? I should have been more clear in my question.
-
That seems reasonable. is your goal to lose weight and firm up too?
-
I can understand why the calories are high. I get the science behind it and your body will require more when doing exercise regimes such as P90X. P90X3 recommends I eat 2700. But I just find that will be hard to eat that much. I also find 1800 will be too little too. I did 8 months before and I was eating 1800 a day. I…

If I choose exercise everyday, like I wil be with P90X my TDEE is 2908. So you guys suggest I target about 2500?
-
@Holla4mom Nope, I chose sedentary lifestyle in my TDEE. I have a heart rate monitor. I use it when I run a lot (used to run a lot)
-
My TDEE is 2316. I plan on starting my P90X tomorrow morning but still not sure what the proper nutrition/calorie intake I should be at. According to the calculation in the nutrition guide I should be eating 3293, lol... I don't think I can even eat that much in a day!
-
Yea, I think week 3 is where I'll start, I can't imagine doing week 1 and 2, just seems too easy. Ill give it a go and see, I just thought I'd ask to see what others have done
-
Ah yes, good idea on the cardio, that's what I would like to do.
-
lol, is this thing on?
-
Yea, I thought about that, Kenpo is one of my favorite exercises so I tried to squeeze it in there, I could probably remove a HIIT and put a kenpo in there since it's high intensity cardio as well. I loveeee Kenpo!
-
Thanks for the responses guys. I actually can't wait for tonight's Yoga X!
-
Noooo, not skipping any of the main workouts. I have not been doing the the ab ripperx bonuses for the first week, my goal is start those on my second week once I am in fullmode. It makes sense though, I could modify it, I think I might just do that, I am 4 days in though. Is there a need to back track or do I just move…

It is a really good idea. I am almost down to my target and I am still able to enjoy some beers and cheat meals. This isn't for everybody of course, I've always had a really high metabolism until I quit smoking a year and quarter ago, I noticed soon after I quit I gained a ton of pounds and read about why, turns out your…

@marsha3x LOL... settle down would ya? Before you attacking me please do some research. The point of my post was how common it is for people to sign up just to reply to posts so that they can promote the products, when someone with 1 post says how great the product is, is usually a sign of one of those people from the…

Thanks everyone for the responses. I've decided that I will walk during my slow down but I will step onto the rails when it is time to change the speed because that's the part that annoys the most; trying to press the slower speed while running fast lol, dangerous! Thanks for the comments :)
-
Here's the thing; they say that jogging or walking during low-intensity defeats the purpose of HIIT as it would appear to be just cardio at this point because there is really no real rest period between intervals These 2 videos say otherwise so this is why I am confused: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdWsReGs5T0…

5.5 mph?! that seems overly fast! The rule is you're supposed to run as slow as you can, if you can run slower then you are running too fast. 5.5mph is definitely too fast. The speed comes later.

Good job!

Personally, I wouldn't take anyone with 1 post seriously. I am wondering about this program as well. I am not wondering about just this program but anything. I need a way to consistently make meals and lunches and such as I am getting real tired of eating the same things over and over because I know they're healthy, I need…

Thanks everyone! you guys are right! I woke up this morning and did a C25k workout, it wasn't in my workoutnplan but neither was the pizza and beer, I feel better about it and moving on ;) Onwards and upwards. Thanks again, T

Thanks for all of the replies! is this program designed to run and also lose weight? I have two goals, drop 18 lbs and also get into shape for a 5k.
-
Awesome, thanks for the replies! I am only 191lbs, which for me is only 10 lbs overweight so I was a little curious. I've heard before that if you have a lot to lose you will drop it fast for the first 10-20 lbs then level out but I was not sure for someone my size and such a short time. Let's see how this week pans out :)…
