I use MapMyWalk as I walk, but I don't use the calories burned it gives my as it is way too high. I just use the distance and the time, and the speed. Then I enter the time and speed of my walk in MFP and it calculates the calories burned for me.

Trying yet again to post here, was disappointed to not be able to post most of the time this month. Thank goodness I had a spreadsheet and wrote all my numbers. As of yesterday, here it is: 37.2 miles and my goal was 30. Mission accomplished!

Here's my humble opinion on this (shared by my nutritionist): the calories you gain by exercizing and that you don't eat back are weight you're gonna lose, so I NEVER eat them back, I stick to my 1,400 calorie plan. I'm not judging anyone who does, but it sure works for me as I have lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks :wink:

I'm also from Montreal, East-End, and would love to have buddies to walk with... they don't have to be in my area, I work downtown, and I'm flexible so it could be almost anywhere near! Of course, I speak French too LOL Please feel free to add me so we can motivate each other! Take are all :)

The ticker doesn't work, it made me install some toolbar, but I still dont have it... oh well, too bad LOL I just walked 2.5 miles: 4.3/30 miles :)
