    Real life (and football) keep interfering with my walking. Got dark (too dark to see, since I walk around a country field), so I had to stop - again.

    Not really any walking today since do humid I couldn't breathe. However I did Zumba my butt off! :)

    I've got my own 24 hours of cardio in September challenge, in which I'm keeping track of all cardio, but I'll join here to try to get to my walking mileage goal for September of 120 miles (I did 100 in August).

    9/01 - 5.6 miles
    9/02 - 3.7 miles
    9/03 - 6.7 miles
    9/04 - Rest Day
    9/05 - 8.2 miles

    September total - 24.2 miles

    Hi all,

    I've decided to set my walking challenge for September at a total of 1800 minutes - an average of 60 minutes per day. That will force me to be vigilant about getting my walks in. According to MFP, I tend to walk at a 'leisurely pace' (it doesn't feel all that leisurely to me but...) - about 2.5 miles per hour. My walking route varies so the easiest thing for me is to count the minutes.

    Up to Sept 4/12, I had walked a total of 205 minutes plus today I walked another 80 minutes for a total of 285. That's an average of 57 minutes per day.

    The weather is getting better - not as warm and humid - so walking is a lot more pleasant.

    Next month, my challenge will be to keep up with amaizenblue44, above. Amazing!! :smile:

    Not getting in my 11,000 step goal. Only logging 8000-9000 so far this month. Will post my total milage for the week on Saturday. Happy walking! :flowerforyou:
