Ready to get back out there and make this month the best!

You're doing so well! I know you'll reach your goal. Keep moving forward :)

The only person who knows I've made changes to my diet/exercise routine are my fiance and my roommate. I'm the same way. I'm nervous that if I tell too many people that if I fall off the wagon, or don't reach my goal as quickly as others expect, that I'll be judged. Plus, it is such a personal experience that I don't think…

Full-time student, but I'm a future doctor! MD to be!

20 :) I'll be 21 in March!! Anyone can add me!!! I'm a pretty consistent logger and I love to run! Any other running buddies out there?

Just so you know, you're exactly right about the Asian population and drinking! I'm a Public Health student and I had to take a class discussing drug use and abuse. We talk every chapter about the racial disparities in drug use. When we talked about alcohol, it came up that nearly 50% of the Asian population have decreased…

I just got engaged in May! I'm still in school, so we're waiting until June 2015 to get married. But how exciting. Congratulations to you all! Getting engaged gave me a swift kick to the rear when it comes to my weight loss goals. I too am 5'4", but I'm at about 170 pounds. I'm hoping to be between 130-140 by my wedding…

Gosh, I guess I should've mentioned that I am a poor college kid. I have a budget of about $75. Thank you all for your responses! I'm thinking adjustable dumbells, free weights or resistance bands.

That is so fantastic! What a wonderful feeling. Keep up all you hard work!

Hey y'all! I'm Claire and I'm 20. I'm at about 175 lbs looking to lose 40-50 lbs! I love to run and am working hard to eat better. I comment a lot and would love to lend a helping hand! Please add me!

In high school I started to lose weight and when I was near my goal weight I actually started dating my now fiance. I noticed that during the first 4-5 months of our relationship I was eating like a bird and I didn't want to stuff my face in front of him. You know, keep up the appearance of being a lady ;) But after 6-7…

I used to be a runner and intervals were the best way for me to get back at it. I did something similar to the C25K, but not quite the same. I would jog for 2 minutes then walk 1 and repeat for a total of 30 minutes of exercise. This worked well for me because I could see improvement every week or two by increasing my…

Thank you all for the fantastic advice! I can't wait to run to the store and pick up some stuff to try!

I actually do remember trying cauliflower recently and was surprised how utterly tasteless it really was. I can get behind that as long as it's nutritious!

Thank you so much for your help! I appreciate it. I don't know why, but I fee like I should always eat veggies raw.

Thank you both! I am hopefully getting a really nice blender for Christmas, so I'm going to try to put some in smoothies. Thanks again!

I'm 5'4" and 175 lbs. I wear a size 10 or 12!

Hi! I'm Claire. I'm a 20 year old pre-med student at Saint Louis University. But, I won't be in StL for long! I'm transferring back home to the University of Illinois in the fall! I kinda let myself go when I got to college because I never really had to workout on my own since I was a cheerleader in high school. Recently,…

1) For myself. I want to feel confident in my own body. I HATE when people respond to that with, "then, why do you have to lose weight to feel good about yourself, huh?". Feeling confident with my body means to me, being healthier and knowing I'm doing the best I can to have that body and the confidence I desire. 2) To…

To be honest, I was invited and simply thought, "why not?"

This maybe isn't the same as what you're probably looking for, but I met an older gentleman today when I was serving at my church's annual tea party. I joked with everyone that I would speak French to my table to make myself memorable. Shortly after, this man came up to me and said, "Wow! You can speak French? I've always…
