I run slower on the treadmill (not that I am fast outside!) but I actually prefer it. I often lack the motivation to go for a run, but will get on the treadmill by telling myself just 10 minutes, then once I am on there it will generally end up being 20-40 minutes. However, even 10 is better than not bothering to go out…

Granola! Looks and tastes like it should be way less than it is, unfortunately I love it! For tortilla wraps in the UK try Skinni as these are 90 cals and are delicious :-)

I have every sympathy, I do exactly the same! I will send you a friend request X

I use garmin connect for outdoor runs, and runsocial on my ipad on the treadmill - lots of different virtual runs to try, and very realistic - breaks the boredom! :)

I would ask for one of the trainers or staff members to show you the ropes, I think they are supposed to do that anyway for new members? Ask them to give you an idea of basic routines for the machines, then when you have some more confidence tackle the weights! :-)

I did a 1.5 mile run, followed by some weights, followed by a nice hot bath! X

Please add me all you home workout people! I have a small home gym with treadmill, elliptical, some smallish weights, and other bits and bobs that don't get used, with tv/dvd and a few dvd's such as zumba, pilates (never used..yet!). I do use the treadmill a bit but not much else, and I could really do with some more…

Hi, one thing I find helps (as a granola addict!) is to measure out a portion, then mix it in to some fat free greek yogurt. It doesn't add much in the way of calories but makes a much larger and more filling dessert, and you can add in some fresh raspberries or blueberries too if you wish! As for the treadmill, I have an…

I am on my last 10 lbs, seems impossible at times, especially with Easter looming! Please add me, I am 44 :-)
-
Me! I am 10 and a half stone at 5'6" ( was just under 10 stone before Christmas!)

Peppermint tea is lovely, and I think it helps a bit!

It takes me 38 minutes to run 5k and I am PROUD of that, it is the furthest I can run, well so far! I doubt I will get that much faster, but it doesn't matter. I would likely come last in a 5k race, but I wouldn't enter anyway. There is nothing wrong with me, I am not recovering from injury or anything, but I am just slow.…

Same here! I am at 140 hoping to get to 130 but I never seem to get much below 140, I just keep gaining and losing the same 8-10lbs! I will add you :-)

Bonjour! Je ne suis pas Francaise, mais je comprends un peu..

I will join too! :-)

Hi, I am 44, please feel free to add me! :-)

I know this feeling, and I have been diagnosed with a peptic ulcer several years ago. I can literally eat all day long and still have this, though not all the time (thankfully!) i find it is worse if I have had a period of eating badly/too much, and then try to get back on track - by late afternoon I inevitably cave in and…

I like builder's tea with milk in it! Though peppermint tea is nice, and refreshing too :-)
-
I am obviously a super slow runner, as I tend to do around 11.40-12 minute miles! Don't think I will ever dare to enter a race of any kind..

I am in Berkshire!

I am currently around 145, and aiming for 135. I look fine at 140 but would like that 5lb buffer!
-
You look absolutely great, I can only assume that anyone saying otherwise is jealous! Or insecure! X
-
I have 10-12 pounds to get to my ultimate goal, around 135, so please add me! :-)

I don't eat breakfast or lunch, but I do snack a little on fruit and cheese during the day. This leaves me lots of calories for a decent dinner and dessert which keeps me full and satisfied in the evening! This definitely works best for me as I don't really feel hungry in the mornings but I am an eating monster in the…

I can recognise myself and my eating behaviours in this. Wish I could understand it too! I definitely have that problem that once I eat even a tiny amount of something I know I shouldn't, my brain kind of takes over and makes me eat until I can eat no more! I mean whole cakes, packets of biscuits sometimes, because I have…

I like to run 2-3 times a week, only around 2 miles though so no expert, but I enjoy it (kind of!!)
-
Agreed, I bought mine on ebay for £40, but new it would have been several hundred... And if it becomes a clothes hanger I can always sell it again!

Can I join in? I am 5'5 and currently 149, hoping to lose another 15! I have lost 10 so far.. :-)
