7 years out, recently got a rowing machine. Playing around with calories, it’s been so long since surgery. It’s only been two weeks @ 1200 calories a day but I haven’t not even lost an ounce. God I hope I don’t have to go back to post op calories of 900 a day to lose. I swear the sleeve forever screwed up my caloric…

I've avoided this app for almost 2 years. Sleeved 6/2014. Lowest weight was 149. Current weight 183. Reading everyone's stories reminds me of what I need to do but just don't have any motivation to do.

I am 15 months out from surgery. I have not lost anything in 6 months. I run 3-5 times a week 2-4 miles. I feel like I'm starving most of the time. I eat. 2 hours later I'm hungry again. I can eat 1-2 cups of food at a time and am really worried that eventually I will gain if I continue this every two hour process.

I agree, I think people just don't know what to say. I know some of it is just me being sensitive and dealing with this new image in the mirrior. Sometimes, I look at myself and think I look like the same ol girl I have always been. Logically I know I must look different having lost 80+ lbs. Recently I saw a You-tube video…

I remember thinking I was failing as weight loss, constantly comparing myself to others success stories. At my 3 month checkup, I had only lost 35lbs. At week 1 it was 11lbs. My body seemed to rotate, 1 week lose a couple pounds, next week lose some inches and so forth. I have had two stalls that lasted 6 weeks each. That…

On that note. Why the heck are we hungry? I thought the hunger hormone was removed with our stomach. It has been my biggest struggle feeling hunger like 30 mins after I eat everytime I eat.

And I am hungry.

Do you have a BMR calc that you like, I have used 3 different sites and they all come up with different numbers. I am almost 8 months out and weight loss has come to a hault. The recent calculator I used said my BMR is 1522.80 with another being 1833-just to maintain my current weight. Doesn't sound right to me. Anyone? I…

I found sushi to be my saving grace for a protein source. I have not tried it with rice on the roll, my sushi joint has an "oh Baby" roll, crab, avocado and a slice of tuna wrapped around it instead of the rice. Kinda of amazing.

Soft foods for me consisted on smashed beans with hot sauce (think refried without actually frying) (in a pinch the side of pintos and cheese at Taco Bell saved my life) mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, egg salad, yogurt. Hummus, all soups. Also a big fan of jucing vegetables/fruits.

I have been stuck for the last 6 weeks. I'm taking everyones ideas! 7months out-Boo

How can you figure out if you're down losing or in a stall...the scale hasn't moved in a month. Am I done? Is there a way to tell? I just started month 7 post op, total lost 67 lbs. Goal was to lose 80 which will put my weight at 161lb (and a normal BMI).

I felt like I was starving for the first 2 months after surgery. I was sleeved in June 2014. I was so disappointed because the feeling of hunger was one of the main reasons I opted for the sleeve. My doctor prescribed an acid reducer, even with my protest that he was crazy and that I was really hungry. Silly me the acid…

I have already eaten 995 calories today! I feel like a total failure. 4 months out, been on a stall the entire month. Probably has something to do with the 995 calories. FML

I am 3 months post op and find that the weight loss is a slow process. I have only lost 35lbs. My calories are between 500-900 a day and I jog 10 miles per week. I struggle with getting in my water, I am super excited when I finish a liter in a day. I have went down 1 pant size. I don't know, I think my body is working…

32lbs! I also had mine June 2nd and have only lost 17lbs in the first week. I have not lost a thing since. Feeling so discouraged.

I had my surgery 17 days ago and my protein intake is only 16 grams daily. My surgeon said no to protein shakes. I am worried though that I am losing muscle mass...17lbs down.

I had mine done June 2nd

Hello all, I had my sleeve done on June 2 2014. I am feeling pretty good. From reading others post our diets seem to really vary. My first week was clear liquids-of which I could not stomach so I lived off of pitcher of water with fresh strawberries, cucumbers and mint floating in it. 2nd week I transitioned to full…

I had my surgery June 2-7days ago. My surgeon nor nutritionist have even mentioned protein to me. I just began my full liquids this week which is anything that turns to liquid at room temp. I struggle with feeling like I'm starving to death all the time. I have been juicing vegetables which seems to help .
