It's already April but my goals are: 1. Try to log in at least 5 times a week - I went missing for a while 2. To drop 5-8 pounds by end of April 3. To work out a minimum of 5 times a week

I've been thinking about giving it a go next year. Let me know when you have a solid date!

BUMP to That!!!!! Because I didn't think I was worthy of success or happiness. Being an emotional eater is a slippery slope...but I now know how fabulous I am, despite what size I am. I now want my outside to reflect the healthy beautiful person that is inside.

I felt the same way, so I began a couch to 5k. The 3 days that I do the C25K I will add 10-15 mins on the elliptical (I do my c25k on the treadmill). On the days off from the C25K I do 30 mins elliptical and then maybe 5-10 on the rowing machine. My loss has been fairly consistant and I don't feel overwhelmed. All the…

I'm doing pretty well. I'm working out most days and I am keeping up with my logging. That doens't meant what I am logging is the healthiest options but at least I'm tracking and I am aware of exactly what I'm consuming. I'm feeling really positive I'm 5 lbs away from my goal weight by Halloween!!!

I just want to say Congratulations on what you have achieved so far!!!! It is really tough to completely change your lifestyle and you have been at it for 6 weeks! That's amazing :) I avoided the eliptical at first. When I did start I only did 5 mins and worked my way up. There is nothing wrong if you only do 2 minutes. I…

I had a full weekend, my husband's Aunt passed away last week and the funeral was on Saturday. It was a surprisingly up beat day and the family really pulled together beautifully. The hard part was staying away from all the goodies at the wake. But over all it was a good weekend.

I'm also doing the C25K, watching my calories (need to stay under 1400) and then throwing in some work out dvds here and there. I'm new to the whole working out bit so if I can fit in my 4x a week work outs I will be happy. If this group inspires me to do more than EVEN BETTER!!!

Sounds like something I'd like to try. Can you please post the recipe?

I need a costume for hubby and I. We like to go for couples themed costumes. When I was pregnant we were a priest and a pregnant nun, it was funny because many didn't realise I was actually pregant until the saw I was only drinking water for the whole night. That was my favourite of our costumes by far. Not sure what…

I only signed up today and I am THRILLED to find other Type 1s. I have had diabetes for 16 years now and pumped for the past 11. I have a CGM, but haven't really worn it since my pregnancy. It annoys me and I can't be bothered to add it into regime right now. Has anyone tried adding Symlin to their regime? I hear it works…
