I live in IL where certain substances are now legal. Theres a group that like to partake in their car immediately before entering the gym. It smells the entire lobby and work area up for hours. 🤢🤢🤢

I have always been active and lifted weights. The older I get the more I understand what works for my body. I'll be 41 in a few weeks and have for the first time in my life visible abs. Also ... in St Louis/Southern IL area if theres anyone close. 😁

When I was logging all exercise I logged it as circuit training. I only used the full workout time if I pushed the workout 100%. If I did the workout at half effort I cut the time way down.

The bmi scale has never worked for me. Much like steveko89 from the above pictures (awesome comp btw) body fat is a better measurement for me. I make 5-6 servins at a time. I put 4 in the fridge and freeze the rest. The next prep i will prepare it a little different. After a couple preps of this I have a variety of foods so I don't get bored eating the same thing. I always do a protein, rice (sometimes flavored and sometimes plain), and steamed veggies.

So do it together. You will both have the perfect support partner in each other. A bite or two of the junk food won't hurt if you're watching your calories the rest of the day. You can have anything in moderation. Be more active together, stay busy with fun physical activities. Challenge each other.

The only way to change skinny fat is to gain muscle. Excess cardio will not fix it, you will need to start lifting some sort of weight (either in the gym or body weight). I have also had 2 c sections (16 and 13 years ago) and only time will heal the skin.

I've taught my kids to eat healthy nutrition meals with a variety of veggies, proteins, and carbs. My youngest is 13 and while I didn't teach her to count calories I did make her aware of serving sizes.

This is the only reason that I'd consider buying a meal kit. It would have to be a dish that I'd never make on my own, but am curious to try. I'd rather not buy a full size spice if it is something specific to a dish that I may never make again.
