Can't wait for the holiday term to start!

I hit my goal and kept on going. 36/30 miles. Thanks for motivating me
-
I've managed 11.5 miles out of my 30 so far.

I got 3.5/30 in today. Had to talk myself into getting out there since it's hot but it was worth it. Also, I'm from Northwestern ohio

I haven't been running long. The last time I actually ran for workouts was 7 years ago. I just started training myself again this past month (June) and I'm still at a slow pace. I'm still at the 'run as much as you can and walk' phase, then repeat how every many times I need to in order to reach 3 miles. Much like your…

Hey everyone! I hope you guys are off to a great start. I didn't get any miles in today, but I did get to create something to keep me focus. I had to do a creative motivational board for another Group I'm in and I thought I'd share it here to. Its how I plan to keep better tabs on my miles without having to check online. I…

I'm with @dreamer12151. I was a little skeptic about all the SheFit buzz that I was hearing and after doing a lot of my own research, I finally bought 2. Let me tell you, it was LIFE CHANGING! I'm between 38DDD & 38F. I avoided anything like jumping jacks or movements that made me hurt even while wearing 2-3 bras. I'm now…

@Orphia Thanks for the support! I did C25K about 7 years ago and was thinking of starting it back up. I wasn't able to get past week 7 I think because of my knee. So far, I've just been making my own way. I'll run until I cant, then walk until I talk myself into running again. The distance I've been able to run get further…

I want to give this a try. My goal this year was to start running again. I started this month (June) and have been slowly working up. While I'm not the best at it and can't go very far yet, I was able to run (jog?) most of a mile the other day while on my 3 mile walk/run. This may motivate me to get out there more and keep…

I'm patiently waiting for my Owl to show up. I'm getting excited for the new term to start. Go Ravenclaw!

I work out on the Elliptical for about 20 minutes, or dance. My doc said it's arthritis beginning up. I don't let it stop me though. I power through, depending on what the pain level is. If its too much, I'll switch workouts, or just take a break for that day. Oh, wear a good knee brace to. They really do help!

This is a favorite quote of mine that helps me get through my little set backs and I hope it'll help you too: "NEVER LET A STUMBLE IN THE ROAD BE THE END OF A JOURNEY". I have this on my wall for times exactly like the one you've mention, or just when I'm having a bad day and eat something I shouldn't. You got this!…

I'm interested! I joined, just waiting for the acceptance.

Thank you! I needed this today as I've gained 4 pounds back on and have been beating myself up over it and trying to think of way to be more strict. Starting right now to be more kind to myself once again. Things happen. :)

Hey Deadfolk, I'll be your friend! Our goals are similar. I'm 27, started at 237, currently at 220ish with a goal of losing 50-60 pounds. I also struggled with keeping the weight off and gaining it back within the last few years. This time, I'm determined to make it work! Slow and steady wins the race! Everyone else is…
