I've read 3 of his books, "Wicked" is brilliant! Haven't gotten to "Son of a Witch" yet, but I will.

Super cute! Thanks for showing us that there's no need for extreme diet or workout schedules but to just do everything in moderation and feel happy, satisfied & proud about it! Great tips!

I love that you said this. My nephew recently posted on FB that "Life is too short to be at war with yourself." I was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder years ago (I wrote that in a previous post) I went through therapy and only found it marginally useful at best. I took medication but felt disconnected & I have never…

I was diagnosed and treated for this when I was in my late teens/ early 20s. It really helped me when I started going to Starbuck's & sitting with a coffee and slowly random people talked to me until I started forming casual friendships that drew me out of my shell. At first I would get dressed cute, put on make-up and…

Awesome! Good for you! My mom doesn't like fresh foods, so it's a CONSTANT battle in our house!

Ditto! BTW.

That's awesome! Thanks for posting your success!

Do you live in Reston? LOL! Just kidding!

I know it's cliche, but I live in the perfect-weather-year-round Southern California. As nice as it is, it can get hot and our sunshine is intense, but the beauty of it is, you can always get a cool breeze if you step in the shade. I grew up in the central valley of California and the heat in summer is oppresive and the…

Mine must be cleaning the tubs/showers. We have white, grouted tile in a 35year old rental condo- it NEVER seems clean, even right have I've spent 30min and given myself a chemical headache from bleach or other poisonous cleaners!

Do a 30min workout (ANYthing) and you'll burn some of that overage, PLUS you'll replace an urge to be self-destructive with a positive activity and give yourself a nice boost! BUT, don't beat yourself up about the overage, it happens and it is NOT a failing!! Blessings! :flowerforyou:

It sounds like you are recommitting and getting back in contol. Wake-up tomorrow and do the same thing that you did today. The same thing happened to me. I lost 25lbs with MFP in 2009/2010 then in the first 5 months of 2011 I gained it all back plus some. This year at the end of August during my birthday, I recommitted and…

Awesome attitude! Lookin' forward to the "no gym" transformation pics! (I don't go to a gym either, just exercise at home.)

60-70oz straight outta the tap. :drinker: ...well, I mean, I drink it from a glass... I try to drink from a straw 'cause I seem to drink more, faster that way and not fall behind. Also, the more water I drink, the less food I consume. I try to drink a glass before I eat each meal and then have my glass, cup, water bottle,…

I'm 5'1. My goal is 145. I've always been chubby (except for a brief period in my early 20s) so I don't need to be skinny. I just want to be fit & healthy & feel comfortable in my own skin, and wear a size "Medium."

Completed.

I've actually tasted the plant itself (and, of course, it's consumer friendly crystals). I love that it is all natural, no chemicals, etc. but it tastes just like artificial sweeteners to me, it has that tangy taste so, I just prefer Splenda if I'm gonna use an alternative sweetener.
