Yep, like they said. C25K Go at your own pace and repeat weeks if necessary.

The only thing that has worked for me. I was eating 1200 cals a day, no sugar, no bad carbs, lots of veggies, worked out 5 days a week HARD. Could not lose a frigging ounce. Lost 18 pounds in 30 days with Isa. I swear by it.

Just finished week 3, day 3 earlier!

Losing inches is what is important. I know I am happy to know I am shrinking. You are doing great. Keep it up!!

I know how you feel. I spent 5 years eating 1200 calories a day, no sugar, no bad carbs, exercising like crazy (weights and cardio) and could never lose an ounce because of PCOS, hypothyroid and endometriosis. I finally starting losing weight in August, thank goodness. Those were the worst 5 years of my life, though. I got…

I see no negative to weight training. It only makes your body stronger and healthier. You may weigh the same, sure, but you are shrinking. Five pounds of fat weighs the same as 5 pounds of muscle, but muscle is much more dense than fat and takes up much less space.

Get the book Body for Life. It will tell you exactly what to do and it works amazingly well for both men and women. You will get cut without bulking up.

The scale can be very misleading. Make sure you are measuring yourself. I measure once a week and, often, I have not lost weight but have lost quite a few inches. Since our goal is to get smaller, the inches are most important.

This is what I was told by a trainer when I had them. Once you have them, you need to rest. To avoid getting them, you need to do calf-strengthening exercises. Good luck and feel better soon!

I have found that I can work every single muscle group that I work in the gym with my own free weights at home. You should be able to do it without any problems.

I had that problem and it turned out to be irritable bowel syndrome. Mention it to your doctor, as it could be one of several medical issues. He/she will probably send you to a GI doc. It's not normal and it sucks, I know.

I also have PCOS and am on metformin and find that I can stuff myself with veggies, protein, fruits and tons of water. I'm sure you know this, but we have to stay away from white flour, white rice, and sugar because of the insulin resistance. It might help to just concentrate on working out and eating right for your health…

I detox regularly, and I feel better than ever when I do. Try it, if you like how you feel, do it again. Doesn't matter what anyone says. I do what makes me feel good. I only do 2 days in a row, though, in order to be safe and not stress my body too much.

I checked out the banana girl on YouTube, and it seems as though she burns A LOT of calories a day exercising.

GET THE BUTT BIBLE!! Not very expensive on Amazon. My husband wanted to write the creator a letter thanking her!

I have hypothyroid, PCOS and endometriosis. I eat correctly for my disorders, am on meds, and work out like a mad woman. I do all that just to avoid gaining weight and in order to be healthy. It is frustrating to do all this and still be incapable of losing weight, but it so much better than the alternative of continuing…

Hi!! What dose of metformin are you taking? How long did it take for you to begin seeing a difference? Well, this didn't post in the right place. OOps. I was talking to sbbhbn.

Same story here. PCOS, insulin resistance, hypothyroid and a form of endometriosis called adenomyosis. I have been netting 1200 calories a day for years and work out and am on the medicines I need to be and I don't lose weight. (The only time I lost weight was when I was eating 400 calories a day, which is NOT GOOD. ) It…
