I go in the morning since the afternoon is too crowded. My gym is in my office building. In terms of feeling gross, lets just say you wont look/feel how you did when you left for work but so what. If your on a mission and have time to go during the day i say do it.

Hahaha me too. I do strength training and lifting but I dont count it becasue I dont know for sure how much im burning. Good luck on your goal!

I think you should focus on cardio and definately more than 20-30 minutes a day. MFP is a service and your body is the tool. I think if you focus on working out and eating right you should lose a few pounds. Of course there are extremes you can go to to make sure you lose the weight but I dont think that would be wise. its the gym and everyone sweats like a horse. you'll get used to it. if not, think about how awesome you will look in the long run compared to how awful you say you look for the little time you are at the gym. If youre not sweating, then your not working hard.

I agree. it makes it hard for me to log my meals which is why i havent been doing it as often as I should. As much as I love this site I'm not sure I trust it to help me lose wieght by counting calories if I'm not sure the calories logged are accurate.
