Hi I'm joining today!
-
I started the you tube version two weeks ago and joined a shred support group on here. Last week I had a medical procedure and wasn't cleared to start back until today. Unfortunately it looks like everyone in the support group had bailed, no posts in three days. Ok if I join in?

I'm still unable to workout, but good news is that my heart cath showed no disease, thickening or blockage. Two more days and I will give it a slow go

Yesterday was my 3rd workout and tonight will be my last until this weekend. I'm having a heart cath performed tomorrow, so I expect to out of exercise mode until Friday to be safe. Ya'll keep on doing great!

On day three of the shred I did fifteen jumping jacks in a row. I had to push myself and then rest a few seconds, but I did it!
-
It was my day three, I think I'll stick to level 1 until I can complete each segment. Jumping jacks are very hard for me, that and pushups.

My goal is stick to the program consistently and indefinitely. I need the thirty minutes of cardio and strength training for health reasons plus I need to drop weight. But I'm more interested in the health benefits it is adding to my life!

Since I'm using the YouTube version, I only see a level 1 workout and level 2 workout. Are the dvd's different? I definitely need to lose weight, but I want to be stronger and healthier more than anything! I'm having a heart cath done Tuesday and currently on high bp meds, my goal is to no longer need meds and to complete…

Hi I'm Dana, 46 yrs old. I found the Shred on YouTube yesterday and started it. I've got 60lbs to lose. I've been logging food for awhile, but after starting my new desk job two years ago, I really packed on the pounds. It was tough last night, but I'm not too sore today!

soda is definitely not worth it, cheese was my biggest eye opener! Dangit!

Such great advice ^^^^! I take medication daily, but adding the daily exercise and cutting out sugar (get rid of that crash you definitely don't need it) has made such a difference!! Best of luck to you, congrats on recognizing a possible problem and being proactive with your mental health!
-
My guess would be your diet, my problem was sneaky sugar and calorie I was justifying. Is your diary open to look at?

Chili! I also use it to make home made cheeseburger mac! I use fresh shredded lowfat cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, skim milk, my own seasonings and whole wheat pasta (whatever shape my kids want or is on sale). Brown your venison with onion, add seasonings, 1 cup of cheese, 1 cup of tomatoes, milk as needed. Cook…

I'm in, looking for something to use now!

I used it for quite a while, once at bedtime for migraine prevention. It takes a while for you to acclimate to the extra drowsiness in the morn, but it does go away. I'm on 2 meds whose side effect is weight gain, you don't magically "gain weight" - keep exercising and eating right and you can counter that :)

First Timer! Put me in for 50 miles please!
