The best shoes I have had for running, walking and use for crossfit is Brooks Adrenaline. My daughter and her boyfriend got me hooked on them. Others I run with wear Brooks and New Balance. And some have gone to a special store to be fitted for running shoes as others mentioned. I've had NB, Reebok, Nike, and a few others…

Do you allow yourself a cheat day?? If not, then maybe a diet break is what you need. I have a cheat day every week. I don't binge eat but allow myself something I wouldn't normally have. It also helps trick your body so it's not the same thing day after day! Good Luck to you!

Thanks Nikki9392! I'll have to see if I can find some of the ingredients locally and try these!!! Good Luck to you!!

I'm not a big fish eater but when I do, I use the Panko Crumbs, season with a little salt & pepper and Mrs Dash. I mix one egg with a little water, dip the fish in the egg/water mix then in panko crumbs... Bake at 350 on a foil lined baking sheet sprayed with non stick cooking spray, flipping a few times while cooking.

Maybe try a week at the higher calories, even like 1700 a day along with exercising 3 or 4 days a week and see how it goes. I haven't reached my goal weight yet but I think, just like everything else, it's a learning experience. If you see yourself losing more weight, up your calories by 100 each day. But if you see…

Same here!!! I ran a 5K in April and messed up my knee again. I've been limited on what I can do because of it... I haven't been really 'watching' and logging my food and I exercise when I feel like it. Which lately hasn't been much! I have lost 60 lbs total with 32 lbs to reach my goal but since April, I've put around 7 -…

I started riding last year. Last evening we did a tad over 8 miles in 63 minutes. That was with a couple good size hills so if you have any type of hills/inclines, I think you are doing fine.

I read on a post a while back, if you need to estimate your calories burned, to estimate 10 calories per minute for high intense workouts, 7 calories per minute for moderate and 5 calories per minute for light. Good Luck to you!!

Walk, Walk, Walk.... Once you get in a routine, carry weights with you (1 or 2 lbs each) and do arm curls, lifts, etc with them as you walk. And then add in some lunges and squats. Good Luck to you!!

I agree Kitty! I actually have been giving my bigger clothes away and I have a friend who lost weight and she gave me her clothes. That really helped because the pants were mostly dress pants and I needed them for work! Saved me a lot of money! And I picked up a couple very nice, hardly worn (and high end clothing line)…

I weigh myself every Friday Morning before I step into the shower. I do step on the scales other times during the week, but Friday is my 'official' weigh in day. I've been doing this for over 1 year now during my weight loss journey! Good Luck to you!! Carla

Definitely do some stretching exercises as another MFP suggests. I'd give it a few days to rest up before running again on it. Maybe by one of those pull on ankle supports that you can pick up at WalMart, etc. You may just need more support for running. And if you're shoes are older, I'd suggest buying new ones. That can…

Not able to help either of you with the 'knowing when you're body is done' but maybe try some cardio for the legs... Squats, lunges, etc. Running & Bicycling are great for the legs too. Good luck to both of you!!

I use Circuit Training, General. Good Luck to you!!!

Try a protein meal bar or a couple saltine crackers with peanut butter or even some almonds! Good Luck to you! :)

I believe squats are under Strength Training. And the leg lifts might be too! Some people still list them under Cardio but I'd list it under Strength. Good Luck to you!!!

Good Luck to you! I do breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack & supper. If I have calories left over, I have a light snack after supper. It does definitely help keep ya full all day!!!

I log it as Circut Training - 25 minutes (which included the warm up & cool down)
