  • you may just cop a serve for suggesting tanning, however....UV (PUVA) treatment is widely used to treat psoriasis and other skin conditions. you start at 10 seconds in a booth getting blasted by UVA lights, then it slowly increases to no more than about 1 minute. it works brilliantly for very severe psoriasis. I however…
  • my left knee has been doing the crunchy gravel sound when bending/climbing for a while now, couple of years actually. my doctor told me off when I went to him finally as the xray showed that it was small bits of cartilage and tears that were causing the noise and could have been fixed with minor surgery, scraping it clean.…

  • what I don't understand is why people have to be so concerned about what others are doing...you are at the gym for your OWN workout. Not worrying about your own self is what got you to be needing to go to the gym in the first place!!!

  • for something completely off track.....the best "diet" is a dose of laughter everyday....reading thread after thread of arguing of what diet works better, what diet consists of what, and then best of all the funny little pics chucked in with a dash of sarcasm IS THE BEST DIET THAT WORKS FOR ME. Not that I am on a diet by…

I too suffered bad reflux for many years now but I have had very minimal since I changed my diet and lost this 20kg in 5 months. I think you just have to keep…

  • I find I job on the spot with high knee jogging. I cant do the jumping jacks as I have very bad knees and the impact kills. I think the trick to to adapt to some other form of high intensity if there is something you cant do due to a medical reason. otherwise push hard and you will get thru. the first 2 days killed me...I…

With that self knowledge and understanding of how you 'tick' you can only succeed. remember to take things at the pace that you can cope with...losing weight is not a marathon run..it doesn't have a distance or time frame! Its your cross country run  challenge yourself…
