I've been told after losing 125 lbs that i look too skinny when I am still not pleased with myself... my solution? weight training. now that i've burned the fat, now its time to pack on the muscle. because its okay to weigh more on the scale if the weight gain is muscle

Before I started my official diet, I played around with diet pills. The result, none of them worked. I lost 125 lbs in 6 months without any magic pills. Just water, diet and exercise.

Welcome back, take as much advice as you can since your a beginner again. I've been on mfp for a year now and I successfully lost 125 lbs in 6 months. Only fill your plate with the right portion size. Most people tend to eat whats on their plate. So if you have an extra large french fry, your probably going to eat all of…

i've never heard of a cheat food, i dont look at the negative, i eat those so called "cheat foods" in moderation to fit with my daily goals. Gotta stay positive! if you tell yourself you cant have it then eventually your gonna break and your goal will be thrown out the window. Anyone that has been successful will tell you…

Approximately 30 calories. You really don't burn anything at all, its mostly just sweating out water weight.

You could very well lose 10 lbs in a month and a half. I once lost 25 lbs in just 30 days. Last month I lost 8. Limiting yourself to a certain caloric intake wont guarantee your goal. You have to consider other things such as sodium, fat intake, sugar etc. If you are just starting your weight loss journey, your first 5-8…

Yes! exactly like that.

If you go on a cruise, its a given that your going to gain 10 lbs. Dont worry about your diet while on a cruise, pack on those extra lbs then when you get off of the cruise work it off. Enjoy the experience of a cruise

Nothing is unrealistic. For at least 2 years I kept telling myself that if I was to get at 220 I would look amazing and thats all that i would want to get to. If I was 220 I wouldn't have to worry and I would be satisfied. Hell, I was 310 lbs. Well i'm happy to say that in less than 4 months, I went from 310 to my current…

I was a nobody my freshman and sophomore year. I was a bullied teen who was a complete computer nerd. Sophomore year I started working for a record label and ended up learning how to DJ. My junior year I was doing all of the parties, I even did my school's prom and all of the other schools proms. Most schools would not…

Ramen is loaded with sodium, I am a college student and despise ramen. There was a guy that was in my class for the first 3 months, the only thing he could afford was ramen, he at it everyday for 3 months, his body was suffering from malnutrition, eventually they found him in his apartment dead. Apparently he had been dead…

Some of you guys are great, I appreciate the positive feedback. Growing up I did try a lot of foods, I just don't like anymore. I have tried all sorts of veggies and different meats, fish, and such, I use to eat it all. But after eating them for awhile for some reason the taste just started getting worse to me and got to…

I don't understand how some of you can say its Time to grow up. I don't like those foods so I don't eat them. I grew up with a dad that eats about everything and growing up I was given the option of trying new foods but I couldn't even take the smell of foods. I have tried many foods and don't like much at all. I've tried…

True I've never been to a concert.

When you keep doing the same exercises your body gets used to them also. i was stuck at 238-239 for about 2 weeks, and i changed my exercises and i changed what time of the day i was exercising and in just 5 days i'm down to 232.4. so thats my experience with changing, i understand your difficulty with childcare and time…

Change your exercises, that should help, just try something new. Also you might not see anything on the scale but you might still be losing inches off waist or neck or such, or something is going on that you cant see thats positive. Hang in there. I've hit plenty of plateaus and I either change exercises or i just wait it…

Well, already halfway there!

My number one reason? to be an inspiration to others. I told myself I couldn't do it, I would always be big my entire life, but now thats changed.

Your going to have to spend money in order to get a good bike. At 300 lbs, I bought a cheap bike for $100 at walmart and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever. I traded it in for a $250 bike and it was the best thing i ever did. i'm not 235 and enjoying my bike daily.

I love playing basketball at the gym, but i can't stand these 14-16 year old kids that talk smack. I'm 20 years old and I don't mind playing with young kids but It drives me insane when they disrespect and get annoying and dont play by the rules. I just deal with it though.

We do not have any thing but this restaurant that sells pizza lol. Well we actually have a Wendys and Mcdonalds, and Starbucks right by campus but very unhealthy. Subway is a 5 minute drive and i am able to just grab it on the way home from class. I'm on campus 8 hours a day, with only one 30 minute break. (lunch break) my…

Its like NY style pizza, the crust is really thin, its not too cheesy either. I also have selective eating disorder so i can't eat much of a variety. All i do is eat exactly what i did before dieting but lower my portion sizes and picking healthier versions of things. i dont eat fast food at all, (except for subway) i eat…
