Well- my strength is strength training so I am doing a modified blend of beach body workouts, hubby power lifting mix and throwing in my fun cardio days. I am 50 (51 next month) and refuse to break down like an old car... John and I thought alike today- chest, shoulders, tris with a little treadmill

Curious- did you get the results you were after with that method? I was considering trying after I read it somewhere.

Going to switch things up for this challenge. I am NOT a morning person but as spring approaches I'm going to try- therefore not eating first or just a piece of fruit. I usually use xtend also Hoss before and/during. Then EAS protein shake and fruit after.

I'm in! Have to change the direction of the scale- clothes already getting tight- eeks

I like the comments about finding healthy foods you enjoy and therefore the word cheat is no longer a concept.

depends on how bad ya want it, I suppose. Yes, I am in the same wagon...lost 13, stagnated, then gained it all back but was still exercising like a feigned. Over-training maybe, pre-menopause, name the excuse. I want it bad enough not to want to buy new clothes- how's that. Feel free to friend me :)

If you wanted to invest the money, I love TurboFire, Tae Bo, Cathe Friedrich's workouts, Amy Bento...i guess you could youtube these and check them out.

Great suggestions, thanks- I wondered this question too

You can always modify all the beach body workouts like p90, turbo fire etc. but insanity can be very tough on the knees and joints. You can always try it and if it's too much, you'll know what you have to work up to. I love insanity- its killer. Good luck :)

I found this as a good synopsis Pms causes Serotonin (a neurotransmitter in the brain) to drop which controls mood and chocolate and other sweets have tryptophan ( precursor to serotonin) in it it it's the body's attempt to bring serotonin levels up. Also, blood sugar and hormones are to blame for the sweet cravings.…

This place is great. I've been doing this a while and find I look forward to communicating with my "pals". I just joined a NO fast food for october group. I have been struggling- but I guarantee I will get support. Would like to help out if you want to add me :)

I am soooo with you. I want to punch Mr. Burger King in the nose! I'm there!
-
Gee I imagine you will get some major agreement on here. I get so mad when I shove a cookie in my mouth or eat at burger king!! I workout way too hard to mess it up. I have tried to stick to a Hershey kiss once in a while... Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
