I remember reading that article too. It is one of the reasons I tried lowering my carbs to 50 g and under. I have been dropping pounds ever since. I only eat more carbs like sweet potatoes on workout days. The only fruits I eat are berries and occasionally HALF a banana but like someone said.. Sugar is Sugar. :wink:

I was referring to kegels..sometimes tampons move out when you go to bathroom, hence why you change it every time you go to bathroom. Iud scares me though, cup may not be for me.

I am about the same as you. 5'5 and 1/2, weighing 145 right now and wear size 8. I was most happiest at 128 so I am shooting for 130 but looking to get a lean muscle physique. I have been 118 before but I look at pictures and think I was too skinny then. I'm all for curves and toned!

Make sure its the opti-zinc and do not exceed 100 mg a day. I use Solaray Opti-zinc 30mg.

Swear by the zinc! :) Its not expensive and does wonders.

I take 50 mg of Opti Zinc vitamins every day. Use Yes to Tomatoes clear cleanser twice a day to wash face. Persa Gel 10% Benzoyl when I have a breakout. I apply only before bed. I like to use FitnessBlender.com for my home workouts. They have some videos posted on You Tube too. There are over 100 videos, so I never get bored. :wink:

Panoxyl bar soap does wonders, had a friend who used it on back acne. A couple weeks later it had cleared up.

Gymjunkies.com has some great workouts for their 30 day challenge to follow. There is some you can do at home that just uses body weight. There is a diet plan as well but I just stick to my own calorie intake and follow the workouts. :)

I just started measuring as well since the scale wasn't really moving but my clothes were feeling better. I'm doing the 30 day shred and I'm measuring weekly.

Just started day 5 level 1. It is hard to stay motivated, I hate working out! But I just keep telling myself its only 30 minutes. Halfway through I'm cursing Jillian and when I'm finished I'm proud. Down 1/2 an inch so far. Definitely a love hate relationship for me. Lol. Gonna keep on pushing!
