I like to listen to the cut the fat podcast when Im walking - great stuff just like your talking about little things make a difference :-)
-
I wear many brands - I have liked skechers but they do tend to compress - solution - get inserts. then you can wear what you want ;-)
-
its the best! It changes your mindset!! I know this is old just hope you are still on here and doing it.
-
So look at what you are doing - go into the goals and remove adding back exercise calories - no need for that. then look at the foods you are eating - its called tweeking your diet - I call it tweeking for success ;-) If you notice that you are eating a large number of processed food s- cut back to more whole/clean foods -…

1. MFP 2. Fitbit 3. Cucumbers!!! 4. Premier Protein drinks (30g P hardly any sugar!!) 5. Homemade jerky 6. Walking every day at lunch for 30 minutes

Check out Esmonde-White Classical Stretch - the exercises seem strange but OMG they work and they are only 20 minutes
-
It sounds like you are trouble shooting - so look at what you are eating be brutally honest - are you getting water in? Water helps flush the crap out if your not getting enough in then that can help with a stall. So tweek one thing and see - if you are eating to many high sodium foods (processed) try to keep your sodium…

How often do we check in? I think I will check in on the weekends since that is the time I will most likely not succeed. During the week it is a no brainer. My SMART goal is only one night no more than 2 cocktails right now. I like that we can set our goals here and get where we need to be.

I'm in this has been timely - I want to cut back from my current 3 -4 mixed drinks on fri sat (the weekend) so I was happy to see this funny been batting it around for a year or so and have done a couple of Primal challenges for 21 days no problem but I do like to sit and relax with the hubby on our porch on the weekends.

thanks everyone! It makes sense - I thought it was a duplicate of recent or frequent for some reason

I do 100g or less for 3 days 25 or less for 2 and then either fast or high fat this helps me on busy days and I just go with the flow. I fast 16:8 naturally always have. It works but you still have to look at macros and calories.

Take a look at your sodium - I weigh daily - its pretty interesting to see what affects weight gain/loss - If it is going to freak you out don't do it though because stress can also add lbs. 1100 is low for your weight - sometimes too few calories make our bodies fight to hold what they have - relax and try eating as MFP…

think of this as a lifestyle change - if the diet you are on is not going to be doable the rest of your life then it is time to rethink it. What is it you like about cheat days? for example - I had Cheetos yesterday - it was one small bag - no biggie. I don't think of it as a "cheat" I think of it as I had a bag of Cheetos…

Stress eating - someone told me that it wasn't really stress eating it was that we are people who really love food and turn to it to self medicate. First - you have to STOP the thought process. I know what you mean when you say "I feel another wave coming" often it is too late then. Your mind is already in that mode.…

Great job. Work on improving your diet slowly. Don’t worry about it to much there’s a lot of information. Try to keep protein and veg up

Yup chicken bullion.

I don’t know what’s going on but the fat has been way off. I think. Celery has fat? Onions have fat? Maybe if I cook them in it but...

At 220 you should be eating more than 1200 calories. Set up myfitness pal to help you follow their calorie recommendations and then anything else you do is pure bonus! If you walk - guess what - bonus! if you get 11 glasses of water in - Bonus! If you pass by that treat - Bonus - or if you have extra calories you might get…

one thing - cook at home

I hadn't tried carb cycling until I did the Fast Metabolism Diet to boost my immune system and deal with some metabolic issues - I was shocked to say the least. So being a person that likes the low carb lifestyle I have been adjusting to eating this way. It is easy and efficient - I personally have made some tweeks and…

Yup it works - there are fB pages to help you out if your interested. Good recipes on pinterest too

Thank you!! I've been soooo frustrated!!!

it can be a sign of anemia - just let your doc know next time you see him or her :-)
-
I have pernicious anemia which means I have to take them for the rest of my life or I will slowly wilt and die. It does help with energy but I don't think it helps with weight loss.

I follow a low carb plan mostly. but have lost 21 lbs on the Fast Metabolism Diet. I'm down 9 lbs in one week right now weigh in tomorrow. Lots of food. More carbs than I am used to and a bit of a pain. Otherwise I think I like the 5:2 LCHF version. Fasting is not an issue for me and I like protein and veggies. Lots of…

I'm a 54 YO rider who used to do endurance go long or go fast! so I went for long :-) Loved it but am transitioning to a more gentler lifestyle. Last year I discovered Cowboy Dressage and Trail Obstacles. I love trail! Cowboy Dressage is good but I am not sure about competing in that particular activity. Dakota did good…

I am on day 3 of a 3 day fast. I thought about doing a 5 but wanted to try this first. I have done a48 hr before based on Jung. Its simple easy and cheap. No problems for me. Make the bone broth before hand and use it if you need to. so far I had one cup bone broth on day 2. Otherwise water with lemon and tea. So far so…
