How did it go Mouse-potato?

Blue hurt himself so I had to do the cowboy dressage trail competition and liberty with the green guy. Dakota did so good! I am so excited for him and I figured out I love trail competition! Cowboy dressage will be a good skill builder I think but it is way to fussy for me - I can hardly coordinate my clothes for work let…

jls - also keep in mind its about the small changes. Drinking water, preparing meals (get to cook), weighing and not necessarily the weight :-) Its about walking from the back of the parking lot, or choosing to drive a different way so you don't pass that nasty fast food place :-) and learning about you! What you like…

Just get back on it no matter how long you overindulged. Think about why you over indulged so you can come up with a plan next time

Turnips are good. Sweet potatoes depending how low carb you go otherwise the cauliflower works bedt

First breathe!! You can do this. Second what are you eating? I find that I have to eat a lot more food when following the plan. sounds like your skipping meals? When I skip breakfast (I hate breakfast - it is really hard for me to eat then) I get bingey later in the day. Eat good protein (or drink a smoothie) in the…

I tried switching from Levo 187 to armor last fall. I went in for my blood test 2 days before Xmas and the doc called me left a message OMG you must feel like crap go to the pharmacy and pick up your old prescription! I did and yes. I did feel like crap. I was bummed but synthetic works ok for me

Good for you looking at the sodium and not being consistent on measuring! I weighed daily for a while and found to my amazement I could fluctuate up to 7 or 8 lbs overnight! Now I weigh in after a couple of lower carb days and stay off the darn thing if I've had a lot of sodium or eaten out.

30 30 30 (throw the extra wherever you want) is a good starting point then play with it however you like. I lose well on this ratio. With fat and protein my two higher. We are all different. Try to do a higher carb when doing lots of cardio and protein on weight days.

Oh it was bad. Can of mallets chili and tortilla chips. Still under my cals though. Lunch was an awesome huge salad with balsamic though!

Nothing wrong with reducing carbs. Make sure your getting plenty of high fiber goodies though meaning veg. I find I do well carb cycling in conjunction with working out. I.e. 2 days higher carb and more fruit cardio days. 2 days low carb high protein weight days and then 3 days 30 30 30 or so with yoga massage play time…

Carbs and water make my scale jump. I weighed every day for a month out of curiosity. My scale could jump 5 lbs in one day

Cascade ice is pretty good and cheap but stick with the darker colors or it doesn't cover the alcohol taste

Whole 30 is great I just finished a round of FMD and am breaking for a week. Then it's back to whole 30 for me.

I bring a salad. mostly chicken and use lots of varied veggies. My coworkers are always commenting on how jealous they are and its so flipping easy - no hassle no mess- just put it in my fit bowl or mason jar - add the homemade chicken strips done. sometimes I get tired of it - then I bring deli meat, romaine leaves and…

I have to head out on a roadtrip for business next month and am loving this post! It is a great reminder to pack a small cooler and to portion out my phase specific snacks! thanks all!!

Well I have 2 days left. Down 15 lbs so far great energy good sleep and feel great! Everyone is different. My average calorie range is between 1500 and 1700. My one major complaint is eating such HUGE portions. Other than that it was easy. A couple of days and your into the next thing. Giving up my tea was hard but not too…

Yes etherealglow is right. I don't go over by a little. I binge. I know some of my triggers not all. Sleep has been crap this week. I haven't thought of that because I usually sleep good. Not enough protein. Anxiety (more than stress I think) and mindless eating are big for me. Once I start it's almost like I can't stop…

I agree measure and track. Look for trends in eating that make you go up and down. Its hard but doable - be gentle with yourself.

Im here also on and off - it hasn't been very active so I kind of backed off. I'm all for it being more active though!

I love my pork or beef salsa stuff. a pork shoulder roast put on top of onions add as much Rotels jalapenos, habanero's mild greens chilis whatever. cook for 6 hrs pull apart and you have burrito meat, pulled pork sandwiches, Cuban style pork over rice etc etc. yum yum yum.

M DH called me picky the other day! Kind of surprised me - I was picky because I din't want the bake oatmeal breakfast at a B&B I was picky because I got a salad and it was all iceberg no greens I was picky because my ham was too salty (very processed) the homemade grape juice was to sweet I had to cut it with water LOL…
-
No I meant minimize processed. I do processed foods occasionally bread - some pasta - ice cream but I try to get the least processed options. Homemade if possible but be picky if not! Shrug 80/20 rule does apply because none of us are perfect! and I don't want to struggle with perfectionism.
