Thank you! I'm really excited about this change and I'm still going! In the BEFORE pic I weighed approx. 140 (after 138 I refused to get on the scale for awhile) in the AFTER pic I was at 121.5 (on 11/5) today I'm at 120 but basically look the same. I work out at an outdoor bootcamp 3xs a week for 60 minutes which consists…

Yay! Glad to hear it, you can do this girl!
-
They probably do, I'm sure its mostly a precautionary measure, still scary tho!
-
oh Panda, you're so silly.

perhaps not. This is not a mocked up image. Here's another image that's also not mocked up, I took it myself, at McDonalds, today. Authenticated. Sounds like you've already been misled, my friend, I'm trying to pull the wool from your eyes not over them

Its doable. It may take time but you will get there as long as you keep at it. I get frustrated a lot too, I've lost 20 pounds since May and I often felt like it wasn't coming off fast enough but I kept at it and I'm still not at my lightest but I am at my smallest. I'm 5'2" BEFORE: AFTER

This is an old food label warning, yes, but still worth noting nonetheless. McD's as well as other big fast food chains in CA were faced with the possibility of requiring these such food warning labels by law. Their foods contain an ingredient called acrylamide which has been known to cause cancer in lab rats. In 2006 the…

This says it all: you have been warned. Oh for heaven's sake here: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g264/crystalinda/mcds.jpg

- Fajitas - Grilled Chicken or Fish tacos - Whole Beans (frijoles de la olla) - Guacamole - Fresh Salsa - Shrimp Cocktail - Ceviche so many things to choose from!

I think it has a lot to do with the intensity of your work out as well. Your body is not used to the level of excercise you are doing when you feel this way so its reacting. Its a stress response. Keep at it, it will get better.

I was browsing profiles the other day and a female had the following quote; "I love my 10 year old boy body". I realize she was trying to be humorous but it kind of creeped me out.
-
That's so cool! I just completely disregard it, but I'm going to give this a shot, thanks. Oh and yesterday it was 115 (which is also my ultimate goal!), gonna post that on my cal. 5 wks out now.

Do we know what book she's reading yet?

Thanks for posting this.

yeah I would totally log juice. People don't realize how many calories they drink, that really adds up.
-
word, me too. I also don't log pill form medications or water. I know I drink well over 100 oz. a day so what's the point.

This happens to me, but maybe not to the extreme that it affects you. A few months ago I came down with a bug and followed my mom's usually routine of lots of fluids and vitamin C which I took in the form of lots of fruit juice, I've been trying to reduce my sugar intake overall so this was a shock to my system, I had a…

Yup, this is another reason you need a post-workout recovery meal. Your body will continue to burn calories after you stop working out a post-recovery protein shake is ideal to feed your body and keep it from burning muscle during this period. Try a protein shake after your work out, you can find one that's low in calories…

Yup I would agree, that you're not eating enough as well. I only looked at a few days but many of your breakfasts less than 250 calories and that is WAY low. If you're working out 5xs a week and not eating enough you will eventually crash there's no way around that and it sounds like you're there. I would say to aim for a…

No not excercise. I see people who aren't cleaners log their household chores as excercise and log 100s of calories burned. I wonder what their progress is like since I consider this just part of normal routine and never log it. It just seems like another excuse to over-indulge caloricly since there is an excess of…

Lol! Me too!

I usually don't eat breakfast before, someitmes if I feel like I need something in m stomach I'll have a piece of fruit or half a protein bar (I like think thin bars). Then after my workout I immediately have a protein shake w/ yogurt when I get home. The protein shakes is around 200 - 250 calories and is regularly my…

I totally agree. Another benefit to switching my workout to AM was that I got it done first thing, and things wouldn't get in the way later preventing me from putting it off. And I often feel really energized afterward.
-
This me right here. I used to go to a bootcamp class after work at 6PM. But since I live in San Diego traffic would often make it miserable to get there. So I switched my work schedule to allow me to go to the 6AM class instead. I never considered myself a "morning" person and I've had to train myself to get to bed early…

agreed. If you're serious about staying within the MFP set limits for sugar intake you need to consider limiting dairy and fruit which are both sources of natural sugar. I also don't eat any added sugars but I eat lots of greek yogurt often times with fruit, so I'm always over too. I wouldn't worry about it, But consider…
