Both of these brands are major generic/private label brands in Canada. I just think Compliments' label includes the water.

Sure thing

Did you switch to maintenance?
-
Nope. A lot of items in Canada don't list an approximate amount of servings in a product. I've kind of come down to the conclusion that Brand A is including water in it's serving size. There are approximately 1 to 1.5 cups of product in the cans and it kind of close to the calories of 1.25 cups of boiled, skinned potatoes.…

I'm not really sure about undrained/drained to be honest. The nutrition facts don't specify either so I've just been working with the calories from the entire can. Visually, it seems like they had the same amount of potatoes, but I could be wrong because I didn't weigh the drained products. I might do that if I get a hold…

I think I see where the difference for the Peas are, the higher calorie brand has sugar in it and the other doesn't. Still not sure about the potatoes. They are both 540 mL cans. Brand A lists calories at 80 calories per 250 mL. Brand B lists calories at 80 calories per 125 mL. Both have the same ingredients: Potatoes,…

Just weigh it before it's cooked

You don't *need* to exercise to lose weight, you just need to maintain a calorie deficit. Invest in a food scale (about $10), weigh every non-liquid you pass through your lips, and measure every liquid you ingest. Pick one day of the week to plan out meals for the rest of the week because you are a very busy person. Many…

Caffeine usually is an appetite suppressant, but you may have associated coffee with food in your mind so the action of drinking coffee makes you anticipate food. Or it could be TOM, or something else.
-
I just searched on Amazon for a scale, picked one within my price limit ($20) that had good reviews. I don't really care if my home scale is extremely scale (a difference of 5-10 pounds from the true value is fine) but it is really important to me that my scale is precise.
-
You could just have a small amount of caffeine or food. I also hear exercise can make people feel more energetic.

I'm sure this is odd, but I love heating up a can on sweet peas and cooking up one or two eggs. Usually comes out to about 350 calories depending on the eggs. It tastes good (imo), is a decent amount of food, quick, easy, and fills me up decently.

On the regular, I drink water and diet pepsi. Every few months/weeks maybe I'll have a drink from Starbucks or a smoothie but I don't really consider those "drinks" more so as meals or snacks.

If counting carbs works for you, that's great, however, it is 100% possible to easily gain weight while staying under a carb limit. On the other hand, it is impossible to gain weight while accurately counting and restricting calories.
-
Put your numbers into MFP's calculator and eat however much it tells you. Trust me, if you stay on very low calorie diets (this is assuming you're weighing your food/measuring your drinks properly and not underestimating calories) without medical approval, you WILL binge and binge and binge. You think it's fine now, but…

I mean, it keeps you covered so if you're comfortable in it, why not? It's no different than women who wear tight fitting yoga pants.
-
Depends on what's in it, how much of it you decide to eat, and what you consider 'healthy'.
-
I just eat until I'm full within my calorie limit for the day. If you're feeling hungry but within +-50 calories of your goal, look at changing what you are eating, not how much you are eating. Some people have more satiety with protein, fat, fiber. But some people also feel better with more carbs. Up to you. Experiment.
-
That just dangerous for some people. So I should drink 115 ounces of water daily (14+ 8oz cups)? No thanks.
-
Eat how you plan to eat for the rest of your life. If you want to go out and eat with friends and/or family, learn how to work it in. If you don't want to, then don't do it. It's your life.

In all honesty, I barely weigh myself anymore. I do an official weigh in once every 30 days. But I know my calorie counting is accurate and I trust physics. I used to weigh myself everyday. There would be times i'd gain or maintain the weight for 3+ days, drop 2 pounds, then gain a bit again the next day. Other times I'd…

Counting macros indirectly counts calories. Perhaps you are just being more satiated.

I hope all of you guys are speaking with doctors/nutritionists/OBGYNs about your diet. You're literally growing a human inside of you, more important to work on nutrition first to make sure your baby ends up okay..

I highly recommend therapy.

That is one form for Intermittent Fasting (IF). In that case, you'd want to make sure your weekly calorie goal is such to accommodate your desired weight loss. If I recall correctly, this form of IF does 2 days of very low calories and 5 days of maintenance or close to maintenance calories. I practice 16:8 IF. Basically, I…

If you were/are overweight, then how are you feeling so full that you cannot meet your calories? There are many calorie dense food, such as nuts, that just a handle will add a few hundred calories. It's normal to not feel very hungry for one or two days but the majority of your days just as one day you might go slightly…
