Lowering carbs a bit (and saturated fat) to control cholesterol. Found that I don't miss them much and am more satiated. Helps to make sure you get enough fiber too.

Squat 105 5x5 Bench 75 5x5 Row 75 5x5 Assisted dips -28 3x5 Run 15 minutes because it's beautiful out and I downloaded new songs last night. Progress is flatlining because I haven't been able to hold down a gym routine with traveling. Just happy I'm getting my workouts in when I can and feeling good.

Squat 115 5x5 Deadlift 155 1x5 OHP 45 5x5. Repeated OHP at 45 because I did that rope climb machine and I could barely lift my arms. Also did hiit on the dread mill and rowed 1000 meters. It was a good workout. Sweated off the wine from the night before :)

OK so I did OHP for the WOW with the empty 45-lb bar. Completed 5 rounds (6,8,10,12,14 = 50 total) with 82 total BW squats in between. I took almost the whole minute to do the last 14 presses, got a single squat in, then had nothing left in me to try the next round.

I don't know how they would have gained muscle with P90X which is mainly cardio. They measured with bioelectrical impedance scales which are not accurate.

Attempted this on Tuesday after my regular OHPs but I was sweating like a wildebeest and had no fuel left in the tank. Will do today. I've been doing well on my water drinking goal except yesterday where I matched it with alcohol (golf tournament).

Today happens to be OHP day for me so maybe I'll use this as my workout finisher. I might regret this because it's supposed to get up to 90 degrees today and I'm wearing glasses. Do I get extra points if I can fog my glasses? :wink: :sunglasses: Also, I WILL like this better than burpees!

Knurling are the crossed lines on the barbell that make it rough feeling. When it's sharper, it's easier to grip. That simulator is pretty fun. It's fairly accurate when I entered my shape, weight, and height. ETA: I wish I knew the upper and lower limits.. it didn't really work when I tried to make myself 1000 lbs.

I can't understand why people always recommend to use machines first. They don't teach you the proper free weight movement. Perhaps the gym staff is trying to justify their investment in equipment.
