Add me. Let's do this together!

Sweetie...it might be a good idea to see a nutritionist. He or she can give you good, factual information. All the best. BYW...you are lovely!
-
You can do it! No one is perfect. Just keep getting back on the wagon. I fall off a lot.
-
I'm not sure how to add you!!! Ugh. I'm not commuter savvy!

I went through a time in my life where I was deeply depressed. I wasn't aware of how seriously depressed I was. It became normal and after a few years....I forgot that I was depressed and learned to live with it. Anyway...in 2009 I decided I wanted a dog. To this day.... I don't know what "made" me want a dog. Maybe…

You go girl!! I wish you all the best.

I totally agree with you. I used to comment daily on my friends' newsfeed and they sort of ignored me. I'm willing to offer encouragement and I wish others would do the same. I recently deleted a few friends that never post or respond.

1) exercise at least 45 minutes 2) record my food 3) try to eat healthy 4) stay active

I think I'd like to give it a try. Can you friend me? I'm not sure how this works. BTW...why only USA or Canada? Just curious.

I can totally relate to you. I have been a binge eater for many, many years. Eating food in my car, hiding evidence of a binge, bring too stuffed to eat a normal meal with my family, eating an entire bag of cookies. Gaining weight, not being able to fit into my clothes but not wanting to buy the next size bigger. I can…

I totally understand. Several of my friends tend to ignore my news feeds and offer no support. I try to give words of encouragement to all my friends several times a week. And they still ignore me. I feel a little rejected. Right now I have about 5 friends but I'm going to drop a few. Feel free to add me. I will defiantly…

Good for you...being honest. I found a way to stave off a binge. I eat something healthy, tasty, and satisfying. It fills me up and I get the pleasure from eating but I don't feel guilty because it is healthy. The desire to binge does not go away but it looses it's grip. Keep up the good work.

I wanted to binge today. Instead I had a healthy, tasty, filling lunch. After lunch...I was no longer hungry. And I enjoyed my lunch so I was satisfied. The desire to binge faded away. Good luck to you.

Sweetie...just take it one day at a time. Don't worry about the future. Tomorrow is a new day. If possible...go to bed early so you will be well rested tomorrow. I am a binge eater and I blow my diet a lot. I have to take it one meal at a time. Here's to a better tomorrow.
-
Oh and by the way...you look pretty to me. Very nice eyes!
-
You are being very honest. Thanks. Please continue with therapy. I don't know what else to say...but I am thinking about you. All the best.

I have mixed feelings about this post. Sometimes " tough love" can be helpful. I have not experienced mean people here. But I am sure they are here.

Try cutting an orange in half and squeeze juice from the orange into your water. Sometimes I add a little unsweetened apple juice to my water. Also try sliced cucumbers or lemons. This makes it more interesting. Good luck.

Does your family have to know you are getting therapy?

Wow. First of all...thank you for sharing. Sweetie...be honest with yourself. Most people don't gain weight if they are eating well and exercising. Are you sure you're taking care of yourself? Really? It's easy for me to "lie" to myself and pretty soon I start to believe my lies. I think it's called denial. Anyway...if you…

I just read some of the other posts. I am not surprised that some people are offended. Recovery and 12 steps can be a very sensitive issue. Whatever you do...I hope it works for you!
-
It seems like you are still relying on your personal strength and ability. And that you still want to be in control. That might work for you. Also...you don't have to believe in God in order for him to work in your life. Good luck.
-
Wow! Way to go. I don't know you...but I'm proud of you! I still need to drop 15 pounds and I'm a little down on myself. I like your mini-goal idea. I'm going to give that a try.
-
Today has been better. It's just so hard to break old habits.
-
I am so sorry. I am glad you are sharing with us. I will be thiking about you. It might be helpful to have a lot of good, healthy food in the house right now. That way... If you want to binge.. At least you have good choices.

Count me in

Jenny...thanks for sharing. I am glad to know I am not alone.
