I think so, but not directly. They help me stay mentally balanced  and after each cheat, I renew my commitment to eat right at least for the next week or so.

I don't know if there's a term for it, but I am absolutely terrified of surgeries or any injury that involves cutting or poking beneath the skin. I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth out several times over the years but each time, I would have a panic attack and call and cancel. I didn't have an epidural when I had my…

Are you required to wear pants/suits? How about some nice stretchy jersey dresses? The pounds per size thing does all depend on where you carry your weight. I lost 25 pounds and went from a 12 to an 8; all my extra is in my tummy & waist. Edit: nevermind, just scrolled up to your no skirts/dresses post :)

Try a different doctor. I'm sorry you're struggling, your situation sounds really difficult and frustrating.

Freakin' diamonds.

My first 'real' attempts after about 3 months of boot camps and 5 weeks 1x/week of lifting: Bench Press 95 DL 145 Squat 145 5 reps each. I have no idea what I could have lifted before, but I'm sure it wasn't much... I struggled with 50 lb. boxes of paper. BTW, all you ladies on this thread are badass ;-)

Oh, I thought you had a question for me. You meant that OTHER Asian hot sauce.  The only thing I would worry about is the sodium, as mentioned above. I eat almost everything with Sriracha as well. The stuff is delicious... there's even a fan page for it on Facebook.

Here's a link, I hope it works... http://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en/food/product_nutrition.mccafe.635.Premium-Roast-Iced-Coffee-Small.html The "light cream" appears to be about the same nutritionally as skim milk.

I keep trying to convince myself that the power in my quads is what's sexy!! But, that does not help me look good in anything cut above the knee. =-( I definitely don't want to lose muscle though, having more lean muscle mass helps keep your metabolism higher which equals better fat loss. I'd rather be solid than skinny…

Dump his sorry *kitten*. Lose weight for yourself, not anyone else.

Quesadillas... Get a big block of cheddar cheese, shred it and freeze in portions. You can get packaged tortillas, or you can make a ton of them for super cheap. All you need is flour, salt, baking powder, and shortening. I like them with salsa, which is also usually inexpensive.

This sounds AMAZING. I know what I'm having for dinner! ;-)

Meatballs, marinara, fresh mozzarella, and jalapenos on ciabatta, stick it on the panini press... YUM.

If you have Safeway stores where you are, try the Safeway Select light ice creams (round containers, blue lids). They're super rich and delicious and like 160 calories per half cup or so.

Sudden cravings... are you preggers? =-P

"I couldn't live in Seattle, I like seasons." Um, we have seasons. Spring and Fall. ;-) Actually summer is pretty perfect right now... 80 degrees and no clouds in sight.

Every 10 lbs. I lose I take a week off from exercise. Yes, I dislike exercise THAT MUCH. ;-)

I'd have to agree. I've never even heard of a "gift opening party". All the other wedding crap is alright, but this just seems materialistic and ostentatious.

I'm in Redmond, WA. I usually use active.com to search for events - I don't really do 5k's as I don't like to just run, but there are a good number of mud & obstacle course runs to choose from around here. I'll be at Hell Run for the 2nd time this year, Tone Loc will be performing ;)

5 reps of 95, then I'm pooped =-)

If you consistently feel strong, energetic, and healthy then I wouldn't worry about it. Otherwise, as mentioned by others - nuts, avocados, cheese, yogurt, etc. are all good.

A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. A pound is a pound when it comes to weighing. [/quote] When you're talking volume, muscle weighs more. Take a chunk of muscle and a chunk of fat that are the same size, and the muscle weighs more.

Don't worry about the weight loss for now,, it will happen if you keep working. If you want to see progress, measure your inches lost from your waist, chest, thighs, etc. Your body is probably used to your routine, and you're probably bored with it. Change something up, or even take a break. Try something new like…

If you gain the weight back, your punishment will be to have to buy new clothes. On the other side, as you get smaller, your reward is you get to buy new clothes! Heheh ;-)

You are correct. Don't wear cotton anything! And ladies... have some common sense. Don't wear shorts so short that everyone can see buttcheek. You can show off your figure with some nice running leggings or knee-lengths, and then you won't get the disgusting goopy gravelly mud "all up in there". ;-)

A good, ripe one will feel soft with a GENTLE squeeze. Cut it in half, put a little pepper on it, and eat it with a spoon. Or spread it on one of those thin "everything" bagels.

Re: Sports Bras, Moving Comfort bras work well for me, the newer big-boob max support styles keep getting better. I prefer an underwire to help keep everything where it should be.

I feel the same way! I gained my D's (DD at my heaviest) when I had my daughter 12 years ago, and they don't seem to be shrinking even though the rest of me is. I just do not like these things - my upper back hurts, my posture sucks, and clothes don't fit right. As soon as I have enough $$ for surgery, I am having them…

You could have to stay in the hospital for two weeks where you can't smoke at all. That's how I quit - it's been nearly two years and I haven't had a single smoke. Seriously though, cold turkey. Willpower. All you need is your brain and you have to truly want to quit.

Not a vegetarian but I love veggies =-). Thank you for posting, this looks awesome.
