omg how could I forget Daryl aka Noman

It just made it easier to see that I am indeed averaging about 1# per week. Which is good enough for me!!! Thanks

Holy Crap! Just saw this old post of mine. About 11.5 weeks later and I'm now at 166.5. Sooooo cool to see the loss this way!

Read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/595473-why-the-scale-goes-up-with-a-new-workout-program-must-read Best thing I read here. I can fluctuate up to 5# in a single day depending on if I weigh myself directly after eating or not.

I have the exact same issues. I'm 5'7" and about 166. While lots of people comment on how much "skinnier and healthier" I look I don't see it. I only see the faults (dumb ab fat and hips). I am registered to run the Tough Mudder - Pittsburgh in August and am petrified!!! I can do assisted pullups at this point but that's…

Great job.....AND GO PENS!!!
-
Exactly....my spine is not exactly where it should be and the chiropractor doesn't seem to be helping. So I try to limit the amount of stress I put on it. Try being the operative word. And you're welcome.

AWESOME! My highest on the angled leg press is 230#. I felt a twinge in my knee after the 2nd set last night so I dropped and finished with 180#. Was still able to do cardio afterwards and it feels ok today so I'll go back to 230# tomorrow.

Seriously after Newton, Boston Marathon, the movie theater shooting etc, you think it's safe to run at night....in the dark....away from help if needed....alone.....without some sort of protection? Geez just look what happens when there are people around and usually in broad daylight!!! If you're a legal permit carrying…

xxTracey - something like Body Pump is usually put under Cardio - Circuit training, general . A lot like Jillian DVD's. For me 60 min of Body Pump would be 600+ calories.
-
You have to log it under cardio.... Strength training (weight lifting, weight training) It will log them then. The actual strength training section is more just to keep track of your weight, reps and sets.

Unbelievable

With that said my kids would LOVE to do Insanity. They already ride bikes and rock climb in gym class.
-
I don't remember who all posted that by signing a school schedule the parents are essentially agreeing to have their child follow all teacher created curriculum but that is not true. PE is REQUIRED in most states to graduate. Without a medical or religious exemption, they will have that class no matter what. Just like they…

THIS!!!!!! x 100000000000000%

Really?!?!?! Kids do NOT get fat from playing basketball, floor hockey, soccer, volleyball, etc. Kids get fat from overeating, unhealthy eating and LACK of exercise. My son plays basketball, hockey and baseball and my daughter plays volleyball and neither are fat by any stretch of the imagination. (*says the wife of a PE…

Thank you for making me laugh uncontrollably at work. This thread is awesome!!

Doing stronglifts for about 6 weeks??? I weigh 170# and can 5 x 5 125# on the rack. I use the pad that wraps around the bar for any soreness. I have temporarily stopped squatting though due to as sore lower back (not sure from what) so I moved to angled leg presses...hit 230# for 5 x 5 last night.

I regularly bank calories throughout the week because I know I usually grab some sort of fast food or go out to a restaurant with hubby on the weekends. Feel free to look @ my diary. I go for a weekly average. If I tried to hit my calorie count every day exactly I'd go nuts.

Present and accounted for. Will hit 7 years married on 4/22. But been together about 10.

Cat on right ankle. Unicorn on lower left stomach. Debating a 3rd for my autistic youngest daughter

My hubby and I signed up for one in Aug '13. I'm petrified. I've done a few 5k (will be doing one 4/6) and can finish under 40. But Tough Mudder may kill me.

Haha...my first thought at the end of the finale was "Carl needs an attitude adjustment from dear old Dad...and a belt". Little snot. BUT I completely agreed with his rationale for shooting the kid in the woods. Andrea - Eh...good redemption on her part (like Merle). But she was annoying. Also, even dying Milton was…

Very good point. I'd say these are the top options from each group: Beth - if not her then Carol (one needs to be around for Judith) Guess it depends on who needs a bigger future love interest more Carl or Daryl. Not sure if Daryl can handle much more loss right now. So my vote is Beth. This will devastate Herschel. But…

My question is if Merle was the first of the 2 main charaters to die then who is #2? And I have to admit it was nice not seeing Andrea for an episode. Also, I just wanted to give Daryl a hug

OP I have the same issue. I've been at it for about 5 or 6 weeks and I'm just now starting to get sore. I'm at: squat: 125 bench: 70 row: 95 OHP: 60 I've given up deadlifts for now since I can't master the form.
-
uhhhhhh EW!!!!! I jiggle WAY too much
-
So far I've lost: 15 pounds = 10 dozen large eggs but I want to lose: 40 pounds = a 5-gallon bottle of water or an average human leg
-
Now for my policies. 1. If you are there to lift...then lift and come prepared. Do not rack your weights and then leave to go mix up your energy drink, find a weight belt, check your cell for messages, stretch, and find your record keeping materials. - Yes I see a guy do this regularly on the ONLY squat rack in the gym. 2.…
