I just go by body fat and how I want to look. Weight itself is too ambiguous. Unless you are losing body fat to the point it is unhealthy, I can't see the problem with losing it.

Exactly, my experience also. So even a cheap scale isn't going to be much worse and this type at least gives you some body fat info. And please go off body fat and how you want to look, not strictly weight. Weight is deceptive, especially when you are exercising.

I've only been on this site for a couple weeks, but this has to be the coolest topic ever. Anyways, to the substance of your question, wouldn't it depend on the weight of what you're getting rid of? Take weight, go to the bathroom, weigh again.

You're welcome. They're usually around 44 bucks, but on a good day you can get one on sale for like 35. I just like that they give you weight, body fat and body water. Again, I don't expect it to be doctor's office accurate, but it gives you a baseline at least to go off of.

Blue, look into the Escali body fat scale at Amazon or Walgreens (free shipping), it gets great ratings and has worked for me perfectly. Sorry if this is considered spam, it's just an honest tip.

I weigh myself whenever I feel like it just to see what's going on, but I mainly am looking for body fat. Get a good body fat scale. They're off probably, but it gives you a baseline. Good luck.

Perfectly said Jenna. I won't judge against people who hate weed or alcohol, and I won't judge against people that love it. I agree though with what you say. Is this totally wrong? I don' t go by BMI, I use it as one factor. I try to go by body fat percentage and mirror reality. With a bit of weight measurement, just to go old school. I am seeking a statistical measurement, but not relying on it completely. These are all tools I figure, not determinative math.
