I'm sorta there but not giving it my all, if I'm honest. I've decided to try 4:3, so I fast and TRE Monday to Thursday, with a bit more relaxation at the weekend. parkruns are starting back in Northern Ireland this weekend, so i hope to get more running into my weekly routine.

Oh it wasn't even worth it! I spent a whole Sunday morning cooking, with rubbish results! Made poached egg and ado on sourdough toast - the ado wasn't ripe, the egg wasn't fresh enough and went stringy. Toast was nice! Ohh I'm going to throw out the liquorice and twiglets that are my undoing in the evenings! I hate wasting food, but it's holding me back. I realise I can't deal with temptations if they are sitting there. Like the wine, I have to ban it from the house.

I had a bit of a dizzy turn yesterday. It's happened to me a few times before, and I suspect it's to do with exercising (I often do a short HIIT session in the morning) and then not eating till later on. So from now if I do a HIIT session I'm going to have a sensible small refuel afterwards.

I'm a big fan of Hoka running shoes too, enjoy them! here in Norn Irn, our Covid restrictions are easing slowly, but from today outdoor training sessions of up to 15 people can take place. So I'm actually looking forward to getting back to running training with my club this evening!

It’s Mother’s Day tomorrow in Uk. I’ve prepped some fancy overnight oats with maple syrup and hazelnuts, will have leftover leek and smoked mackerel pasta bake for lunch ( it’s tonight’s dinner), and then a veggie burger with cauliflower and broccoli in blue cheese sauce.
